It doesn't explain anything, Reagan didn't lie to the American people and to Congress, and didn't try to cover it all up to protect his job or his party.
Yes he did.

He didn't lie, he ordered his people to testify, numb nuts.
Yes he did.

Notwithstanding the ancient history of Iran Contra, we are discussing Benghazi in the here and now, and how Obama is stonewalling the investigation.
Who lied? Where is the lie?(edited)
This administration is stonewalling not fire-walling. "Nu, UH!" they and their supporters continue to insist with their hand in the cookie jar. It would be one thing if they shrugged and said, yeah we lied, so what? But they keep insisting they were even partially forthcoming. That hearings held while information was still being withheld "settles everything".
Who lied? Where is the lie?
And exactly what new information was in the Rhodes e-mail?
Just keep dodging the questions and spouting the rhetoric to make it clear that you buy the GOP line.Just keep chirping the same tired, asked and answered question through-out the hearings, maybe you will convince the 74% of the public that thinks the administration is obfuscating that there really is nothing to this.
Since you are incapable of reading context in that email, forgive me if I decline the opportunity to explain it to you again.
We get it- you buy the party line: "Nothing to see here, move along.."
~cheerfully~ Ok then! Glad we have that nicely settled.Just keep dodging the questions and spouting the rhetoric to make it clear that you buy the GOP line.
The fuck he didn't. His administration was selling arms to the Iranians to fund the contra rebels. They systematically lied to the American people and congress. Those that were convicted were pardoned by Bush I after he took office or had their conviction overturned on a technicality in the case of Oliver North.
Dude! THAT WAS 35 yrs ago
