Movies that Have Made You Cry?

Terms of Endearment-- when she says goodbye to her son and then her mom sees she is dead...ahhh killer.

Armageddon--My dad looked like Bruce Willis, that goodbye scene with him and his daughter in the movie makes me cry like a baby. I think because I didn't get the chance to say goodbye to my own dad.

Swan Princess--I'm a putz when it comes to Disney movies.

Santa Clause--When Tim leaves his son, it's sad.

Schindler's List... didn't everybody? Even the big strong guys?

this one had me leaking...and Field of Dreams did also....

I'll tear up at a long-distance phone commercial.
A complete and utter sap.

I used to be a starving actor, and gave it up when I got married and had a kid. I could hardly step into a theater for years. I was sobbing at a road show of Grease!

I'm mostly better now. The medication helps.

Oh, and Peaceful Warrior. That made me cry too. It also made me want to run. I did so after the film was over. :)

Ahhh... Brian's Song... haven't thought about Brian Piccolo in a long time.
Yeah, I forgot this one. Right there with Old Yeller for making guys cry (especially around these parts). That may be the last time I actually cried at a movie (but the hollywood exec who greenlighted the remake should be executed...painfully).

As I said before, I'm a sucker for kids in danger & heroism. I know I'm going to take shit for this, but Homeward Bound. Every time I see the dog come and comfort the lost little girl, then go find the search party and bring them back to her I feel like I'm going to lose it. When her dad picks her up, I can completely identify.

Ditto.

My list of movies that have made me cry is really limited only by the list of movies that I've even SEEN.

A few I recall ...

The Color Purple
Steel Magnolias
Terms of Endearment
The Lion King
The Dead Zone
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
Independence Day

There are many, many more.

Ok I will admit it I did too, but I lost it when Randy Quaid gave his life up and flew his plane into the ship!

Self sacrifice is always touching.
