Movie munchies

When going to the movies, you have to have something to munch on. What do you normally get? Or do you refuse to pay the captive audience pricing at the concession stand?

I love getting freshly popped popcorn with no butter. I've worked at a place that sold popcorn and after seeing what they actually use for butter, I refuse to eat that crap.

When in the theater, I love those nachos with nice hot cheese sauce. It can be an adventure, though, when the theater gets dark and it gets hard to see.....

For me, it's Junior Mints all the way. The fact that Kramer from Seinfeld ate them in an episode just makes me feel all that much more cool. Now if I could only drop it into someone's body cavity and heal them...

this is going to sound weird..but a friend and i have been doing it for years...we get a popcorn with butter..and a pickle...<and a big coke of course> we break the pickle in half..and dip it in the popcorn..and eat that popcorn right off the pickle...WE LOVE IT!!!! i don't know who came up with it..or when we did it the first time..but..now..it's a movie tradition...it's super yummy!!

What blows me away is how expensive it is just to get a coke and some popcorn at the movie theater...I went and saw Blade2 a few weeks ago and it came to 8.50! I know thats how theaters basically cover thier cost but thats just sick...next time I'm smuggling something in...add in the cost of the ticket and I'll just buy the dvd or tape...

You can't beat Jaffa's in the movies and those digusting ice creams that are pre-dipped in chocolate. The cones always soggy, the chocolate not 'real tasting' but I get suckered in every time.
