From my own personal experiences, I find that there are many more submissive men that Dommes.

However, I would qualify this statement by saying out of every 10 so-called subs who contact me;

3 are bottoms,
3 are fakes,
3 are fetishists, and
1 is really submissive by my definition.

What is my definition?

I think there are a lot of Dommes here.
More than one would find IRL, outside of a function.

I think, in general, however, it is more difficult for a male to find a Domme.

3 of my best friends and I are very submissive , however we kept getting hooked up with a lot of "wanna-be" online Doms, thank God I can tell the difference between the FAKES and what's REAL now!!

I find that some of the better submissive males are those who previously were trying to be dominant because of societal expectations.

Many of the "identified subs" are actually trying to top from the bottom by having a Domme act out their little fantasies.

Is it possible that it is far more difficult for men to break from the preconcieved notions concerning their machoism and manhood to face their submissive natures?

Perhaps, submission is a latent trait in many men who are not sure how to engage in it? Or how they will be percieved by society, much less how they would end up percieving themselves?
