We have a friend who works for Ford & got transferred to Dearborn Michigan. Nightmare stories from them being threatened & called infidels right in America. They're getting out of there after the new year, coming back to the plant here. Didn't know it was bad there

I'm fairly biblical in my outrage over crimes against children, but a child torturer-murderer was sentenced to death yesterday, and having heard how much people like that are hated in prison, in this case I would have voted for life without parole - a hell that would last until he died many years later.

How did the expression "sick as a dog" originate? In my lifes observations, dogs are generally very healthy and get sick very seldom compared to humans.
