Just received instructions on recycling from the waste removal company which includes fines for not following their rules. So, I've decided, "Screw the Planet" and everything will be common trash. There's no fines for common trash...

I had been pretty good about separating recyclables and trash, but now they are going to be INSPECTING the recyclables and fining those that break their rules. So, FUCK THEM...

When the planet goes to Hell in a hand basket because of too much trash, it'll be my fault...

I find it a little weird that every time I lose weight, I start getting asked out. There’s the colleague who keeps looking for me at the bus stop, another male colleague who keeps inviting me to the pub near my flat. I had to discipline him recently, so that offer may be off the table And more recently, a girl told me I’m coming to her house for homemade soup sometime.

It makes me uncomfortable, so I won’t be attending any of these things! If it was a team meet-up, I’d consider it, but I’m not really up for one on one meetings with people. I’ve got my medical appointments and the works needed at home to focus on

I surprised everyone including myself today! In my new role, I am responsible for three departments, and all the staff in them. Today I was required to complete a task I haven’t yet done or even been shown, so I asked for someone to show me. As I was being trained, a staff member called me and asked whether she could go on her break. I said not yet, and that I’d issue her a break when I can. She went anyway. I got her called over the tannoy, which she ignored.

She when she came back, I asked her whether she heard her name being called. She replied that she did, but she didn’t want to come as she’d just made a cup of tea

So I took her into an ‘informal’ meeting and made notes of our discussion, which we both signed and will be placed into her file. People seem to have this idea that I’m a pushover, and won’t discipline staff who mess me around, but I will. I’m fair with them, and I expect them to be fair with me in return!
