fairysong said:I visited Moonlight today. She is one of two Lit people I know in real life. She recognized me as soon as I walked into the room. I was afraid that she might not remember me since she has some memory loss. But she greeted me with a smile. I got the feeling that if she could she'd have got up off the bed for a hug.
I sat beside her for the better part of an hour. She looked physically and mentally tired. But she is still eager to move forward. She showed me things she's relearned. Can you imagine having to learn to tie your shoes a second time? To use a zipper or button your shirt?
I caught her right after a nap so she complained about how she looked a mess and didn't even have her hair combed. So, I help her brush her hair. I told her about how her bro has been keeping Abs and I informed, about her friends at the AH, and about how we all are pulling for her full recovery. Then we both cried for a bit.
She misses everyone here very much and sends hugs. She is very touched by all of your support.
Godmother Abs, she sends you an extra big hug for watching out for lil bro.
