I just got an email from her a week or so ago- DAMN!

Thank goodness I read through what I have missed over the last few days to know this happened.

My prayers are on full blast, and my thoughts are with her and her family.

I recieved an email from Moonie's brother:

The accident was caused by a Truck running into the car Sis and her friend were in. Her friend who was in the drivers seat is doing alright. She will be going home on Friday. The Truck driver also had minimal injuries. I learned today that he was Drunk at the time of the accident.

There has been no change inSIS condition since she was moved to ICU. They cannot get her to respond to any stimuli and are fearing brain injury. To what extent we don't know yet. Her doctor is hoping for the best. Physically she has several injuries but all of that has been taken care of. Fractures heal. She's had blood transfusion. We are mainly concerned that she hasn't regained conciousness as yet.

I'm waiting for her to wake up and scold me for being a "worry wort". I'm still in shock but I know my sister well enough to know that she'll be joking about this as soon as she wakes up.

I'm not sure how often I can update you but I'll keep in touch.

I let him know that he and his family are in our thoughts and that many good wishes are being sent out as well as many candles being Lit for her.

God....I don't even know what to think or do. I can't help but cry and worry...Moonie's one of the few I talk to outside of Lit, on the phone. Moonie, however it goes, be well, know you're loved.

Just to let you know, my brother was in an accident years ago, he was in a coma for over 12 days and now, married, has a new baby and a great job!

She will be fine! She is too strong to let anything get her down!
