I'm waiting for her to wake up and scold me for being a "worry wort". I'm still in shock but I know my sister well enough to know that she'll be joking about this as soon as she wakes up.

Come on, Moonie... we're all calling you... wake up, luv...

:rose:

My dearest Elf,

Please wake up so you may once again dance in the moonlight
and add you voice to the chorus which is the AH.

Thinking of you often... :rose:  :rose:

Yes, Moonie, like Zeb and everybody else says. Please get better and return to us. :rose:

Not news I really wanted to come back to, but adding my prayers and strength to our own sweet Moonie.

I just sent her brother an email with the link to Moonlight's Candles. I gave him all our thoughts, prayers, and good wishes.

Come home for Christmas, babe... we'll even save you some pie.:rose:

I can sympathize . . .

Get well soon, Elf.

You know I've got a soft spot for you little pointy-eared cuties. :)

Another note from Moonie's brother:

I've passed on all your thoughts and wishes to Sis. It may sound weird but I've been sitting beside her telling her about the emails and visits she's had. I don't know if she can hear me but talking to her can't hurt and makebe it can help. She looks so small and fragile laying in that hospital bed with so many monitors hooked up to her.

She hasn't responded to anything as yet but I'm not giving up hope. Due to complications she is suffering cardiovascular dysfunction, excessive blood clotting and hormonal imbalance.

I have given the link to her candles to some of her friends. That was a wonderful idea. I could feel the love and warmth. My parents and I are very grateful for all your support. Please thank all her friends for us.

I am sure you've done so already, but you must thank her brother for keeping us updated.

still in my prayers :rose:

Yes I have as well as telling him if there is anything we can do, to please let us know.
He only has Moonie here with him, their parents live overseas. I don't want him to feel alone.

Great job, love. He needs plenty of support. I'll do what I can :)

I'm sorry, but this seemingly endless stream of misfortune for people here just seems to be outside of what one could normally expect. I know enough not to rail against forces of chance, at least on a rational level. But this rash of bad things happening really tries my faith, such as it is.

I send all my condolences and best wishes to Elf and her loved ones.

But I'm really angry that such a string of random rotten things has happened, going back to Colly's untimely death. (Maybe before, but that's when it hit me hard) True, many good things have happened lately - EL and Rob getting published, and others that I blush at not rembering in my current agitated state. But within such a small community of regulars, I despair at the frequency of our misfortune. Particularly since one of the most important aspects of this community to me is the generally acknowledged decency and tolerance with which we converse. I know I'm intemperate (hence my annual Christmas AV), but I sure as hell don't wish on anyone the sorts of things that have happened this year to regular participants in this community.

Please, Elf, stay with us.
