Missing Girl in San Diego

A young girl is missing in San Diego,I ve followed the story slightly.As a parent I truly feel for the parents, as it has to be your worst nightmare.But what I dont understand is why all the national media attention.Is it because she is blonde and blue eyed?What if it were a black child from the inner city or any other minority child?Is the media bias when it comes to this type of thing? I pray for her safe return.

Yes bored1, you've hit the nail on the head, the media is racist. People of color are the only people who commit crimes, and there's no need to report when a person of color goes missing, you are right. Need I go on and on about food types as well?

It's sad that a girl or any child is missing, but the reason for FULL coverage, is to bring that child back alive.
