Unfortunately, there's no technique that's going to do it for you, it's what's between your own ears and your willingness to allow yourself to have the experience that will make it happen. What I mean is, most folks go through the motions to attain an orgasm, usually in the most expedient way possible. If you remember that it's the journey that is important, then you take more time to build up to the orgasm AND allow yourself time to experience and enjoy the orgasm.

When I was in my teens and 20's I'd work to give my partner an orgasm, then I'd be wham bam, thank you ma'am for mine and be done. In the vigor or youth, this could be done several times in one night. While the O's felt great, they were not earth shattering. Now, a score or two years later, I've learned how to have an orgasm, as silly as that sounds. At the moment of the O, I concentrate on the sensations which extends their duration, the longer they last, the more satisfying they are. At first I'd "force" the sensations to be longer, now they just are. While I can't say exactly the time difference, I'd say that they've gone from 10 to 15 seconds up to 60+ seconds. The other thing that makes a major difference for me is my emotional connection to my partner. The deeper my emotional attachment, the more meaningful and satisfying the sex.

what NM said. IMX, the magnitude of experience you're describing is by its nature such a personal and subjective thing that what might produce that effect for me might be a ho-hum for you, or vice versa.

I concur. I've only had success with this twice (masturbatory) - but have tried more times than I can count alone and with a partner.

Best not to try this alone. It's similar to auto-erotic asphyxiation in that you can OD on NO. No orgasm is worth dying for.
