men with avg / small size dick

I am really quite small. It often embarrasses me. Even makes me feel humiliated and inadequate. But in a strange and erotic way, it makes me more aroused in the presence of both men and women.

No ruler handy - small clitty

My contribution to the conversation. Good sissy candidate?

Mid 70s here and my cock is maybe 2 " soft and just kisses 5" hard, maybe 4 1/2 in circumference. I have read so many online blogs and reports about cock size and every report is different, they make your head swim. I trust and love all the ladies on this board, how do you feel about my size. When I was in HS, i was embarresed to take of my shorts in the gym , I was always not happy about my size, but have finally come to the conclusion that it is what it is, get over it.

How often did you have erections when your penis was growing?

My penis turned out to be a bit larger than average and ramrod straight. My earliest memory is of mine being erect, often painfully hard. I wonder if those constant erections had anything to do with my ultimate size or was it all due to genetics?

I wonder if studies have been done?

Had normal erections nothing out of the ordinary that I can remember. I kinda doubt if having them or not has anything to do with the size you have now BUT you never know, a study may be interesting.

YES! Size does matter. The ridiculously large is not necessary but the pencil dicks or short, stubby ones also don't quite get the job done. Just like Goldilocks, it must be Just Right!

As a Grower, not a Shower - well. I'll be happy to stand inspection! You may not be too interested when things start... but when things come to a full head of steam...

YES YES YES, so perfectly phrased 👌🏽

In my teens I was just under 7 inches, now I'm very slightly over 6. I've tried without any luck to get that inch back. No matter how clean my diet or the type of exercise I will lose weight in the wrong areas. Neck/face and arms, God bless my cursed genetics & metabolism.
I'm very grateful for my demanding friend and never have I had any complaint, in fact quite the opposite. My girth, crazy recovery time and libido that surpasses a rabbit fed Viagra. These are far more valuable to me than a horse cock and thanks to these traits, in the past when sex was very high on my agenda 'i had amassed a handful of 'regulars'.
Many guys exaggerate so one needs to take others say with a punch of salt. I still remember this Latin guy who was 8 inches. I was bigger, so it might be wise to take away an inch or even two!

As I get older I swear it gets smaller
Barely there when flaccid
Maybe 3" at best fully aroused!

I'm finding it bemusing the number of guys who are posting about their six inch dicks and thinking that this is 'average'. It is not. Six inches is considerably above average.

There really is widespread misconception about what is 'normal' with regards to the male sex organ. A fair bit of clinical research has been conducted looking into the subject of penis size because so many guys are self-conscious about this issue (girls generally don't seem to mind as much). What is known from the data is that men are incapable of accurately measuring their own penis length and grossly overestimate. But when independently assessed, the average length of an erect penis is only fractionally above 5 inches.

What is "average" depends on whose research is referenced.
Why worry beings there's nothing one can do about it.

Actually, the article that I've referenced there is a systematic review. This type of article analyses and critiques all the available evidence on a given topic. Given that it is published in a highly respected, peer-reviewed journal I would argue that its findings can be considered valid.

That said, I think you have hit the nail on the head when you say it's not something that people should worry about.

The reason the British Journal of Urology has published such comprehensive clinical research on the topic is because so many men go to see their doctors worried about the size or appearance of their genitalia. It is a shame that this should be a source of so much unhappiness and anxiety. But partly the concerns that men have about their size comes from unrealistic expectations of what is normal. This is largely driven by what they see in porn and by what other men or women boast about.

My aim in sharing with the forum what the clinical research has to say on the issue was to bring a bit of balance to discussions. Often, the misconceptions about what is 'normal' only help to drive some men's anxieties.

But for me, I'm with you on this - I don't think it's something worth worrying about.
