Meghan Markle

Harry declined to name the family member but said he was "a bit shocked" by the conversation. Winfrey said on CBS on Monday morning that "it was not his grandmother nor his grandfather that were part of those conversations."

So it was either Daddy...or brother...

Charles or Andrew? Could be either, but Andrew is the bigger arsehole.

fucking good job she isn't eastern European!

The Royal family has a long history of experiencing racist abuse.

They had to change the family name in the First World War because their name was too German, but the German Kaiser and the Russian Tsar were the King's cousins.

For years, Prince Philip was known as 'Phil the Greek' or 'Phil the Dago' and there was criticism because his wider family had been too close to the Nazis.

The Prince of Kent married an Austrian and she had abuse for that and was also known as 'Princess Pushy' but now Meghan has that title.

I can't keep them straight. If it wasn't Harry's grandmother...the Queen...and it wasn't his grandfather...isn't that Andrew? Then who else is there? I am only guessing...but when you look at the totality of how Harry stopped talking with his brother...that points towards obvious issues there. William is on record for trying to talk Harry out of the relationship...going as far as saying basically fuck her but don't marry her. Harry also stated he has talked with his Grandmother and Father. That only leaves one option left...unless I am missing something

No, his grandfather is prince Philip. Andrew is his uncle, the sex offender.

That would take a lot of research, which I doubt you have done.

Seriously? How many indigenous women disappeared in the last five years? How often are these cases solved? Indigenous people are about 5%of the general population but more than 30% of the prison population.

That's pretty shocking.

Unsolved missing persons is now considered unwelcoming to immigrants?

That is pretty shocking

The "missing" indigenous women aren't missing.

They ran away to make a better life for themselves.

I blame their parents.

But, ok, they... don't count. And there's definitely no racism in that!

So there is one more...the Epstein compadre...

That is better...kinda. Most likely it wasn't William that said it. But still, there are some pretty hard feelings there so something happened. Just not what I speculated.

Philip is the one in the hospital right now...thanks for clearing that up for me

Your first assertion on missing indigenous women: 70% of those missing women disappeared from reserves - yah, there own people disappeared them.

No, they are more like 60% of the prison population. Many reasons, but principally they don’t understand the law of the land. Most of that 60% are incarcerated for sexual and family abuse crimes. There is a federal jail near me and I know some guards. They have a significant number of Inuit men in this jail. All of them for raping pubescent girls. In the Inuit culture men feel free to sex (rape) girls after their first period.

As far a population % that recently changed when our federal government granted the Métis population “status” as indigents. So that % is now approximately 13%.

The international press loves to throw stats out there that are both wrong and biased - to sell - but go to a .gov website here statscan.ca and you will be able to search for correct data.

.
In all fairness to Harry (and by extension Meghan) the events surrounding Diana's life and death probably helped inform the decision to split from the Royal circus.

The writing was on the wall, and if "Megxit" hadn't happened, a similarity tragic ending could have been expected.

Of course the tabloids (and by extension the Royal family) probably wouldn't have minded that outcome.

I wish Harry and Meghan well, and I wish William and Kate well, but I am rather apathetic about "the institution".

I think Harry never wanted it in the first place, always resented the spotlight and the rigid rules. When he found a career and military family, where he could actually feel useful and normal, his birthright and the media fucked him over and took it all away from him.
It's obvious that Harry was never happy there. I think it plays a part in why he married someone from an entirely different culture.

But I always wondered:
--- is it because he felt that the Queen/Charles ordered his moter's death? Honestly, INfind the official version 'panicked and tried to get away from paparazis thus crashed' to be incredulous.

-- or because he might? be J. Hewit's son, thus Charles has mixed feelings toward him?

and his grandfather's 2nd biggest claim to fame is making outrageously racist and rude comments to and in front of people, and thinking he's terribly clever and funny for it.

So his grandfather --prince Philip-- used to make racist remarks?
I kept wondering who they wete referring to (ie the color of the baby) -- I had the impression it was Charles.]

The other thing is, why did Harry and Meghan do the interview Now?
What prompted it?

I can give you 7 million reasons. 7 million right reasons. Add that to the 100 million 5 year Netflix contract to produce a children series...

What is the one thing money can't buy? Happiness. How do you let something go...so you are no longer giving free rent in your head? You say it publicly. They can now close that chapter of their life...they gave the public press what they wanted...now when they are interviewed...it won't be about old news.

I don't read tabloids, so the various conspiracy theories are a mystery to me. That said... I did see this.

Why now? Because he's never lived poor, and there's not much chance of a regular job.

He's a security risk and a press magnet.

So you're saying that their society is suffering identical issues to those of others who suffered similar mass trauma?

Well best dismiss them as the problem here, because that's not at all racist, and it's far cheaper than a nation fixing the problems it created.
