Princess Anne only really likes horses but she will be courteous and friendly when carrying out royal duties.

The minor royals do their part for the services and for charities etc and their roles are very helpful. Princess Diana's work for land mines and for AIDS sufferers was instrumental in changing things dramatically. Other royals' roles might gain fewer headlines but their involvement can make a real difference to people's lives.

Despite the lives of privilege (less apparent with those further from the succession) they work hard in a role that many would find difficult if not impossible to do.

You missed out Eddy, Charles youngest brother. He took a lot of stick from the press for his attempts at a career in theatre management but now he has the sort of life that the Sussexes claim to want. His profile is low and the press leaves him alone. His wife Sophie Wessex is very popular in Surrey where they live. She won a lot of hearts when she chose to have her children in the local NHS hospital rather than the private one in London. I believe she used to work in PR so she knows how to handle the press.
