mediocrity and me

our society encourages us to raise "well rounded" children. the problem is, the most successful people are not well ronded at all. they excell in one or two particular areas.

as a person who excels in absolutely nothing, i ask the board's advice.

what's a poor boy to do?

couple a things,

i was referring to the MOST succesful people. the nobel prize and field's medal types. still though, you address my situation.

second, thankyou for erradicating what little self estem i was trying to salvage with this thread,

third, you left out one other of your characteristics.....modesty.

I think successful people are people whom have experienced some stress to push them. Round or square, if you do not need to push, you probably will not.
