I am also single - happily divorced for a good 10 years after a short mockery of a marriage.

Certainly I have 'met' a few wonderful men online that I would consider candidate partners in real life if they lived within spitting (??) distance of me. One or two of these are even single!

Still I feel I would rather have one of these living next door and not WITH me.... ... Partly because I may be too set in my single ways now (or too set in being UNset, the freedom), but mostly because that way I could wrap (parts of) myself around you regularly without having to wash your socks and remind you when to sneeze

AA: I think that statement you hopefully doubt (?) has been true for some. However, it takes no account of the millions who were not looking - and never found anyone. In any case, if the man of my dreams fell into my lap he would break my legs!!
