I hope you all realize, if Roe v. Wade is overturned, that throws the whole issue into the legislatures -- which is the worst thing that could happen to the GOP electorally. A lot of people who now vote Pub in good conscience, as a gesture, knowing it won't really affect access to abortion, will stop doing so.

A lot of people who now vote Pub in good conscience, as a gesture, knowing it won't really affect access to abortion, will stop doing so.

I doubt it will go very far federally.

What it will do is throw it back to the states.

Nobody can say why abortion is an untouchable right that shall not be infringed. As soon as this is confirmed by SCOTUS then red states will proceed to regulate abortions the way blue states regulate guns. With "common sense"
