Will The Scotus Declare Race-based Gerrymandering Unconstitutional?

My sense of humor is boundless. Yours could be detailed on the head of a pin with a crayon.
That's cute. Borrowed that from Thomas Aquinas, did you? You know, the unanswerable question of how many angels can dance on the head of a pin, a question that other religious people made fun of?

Like the angels' question, you might consider how many here consider your puffery about boundless humor to be equally laughable. Was that your point, to be laughed at or just satirical?

If the Court sides against Louisiana’s racial gerrymandering, it sets a nationwide precedent. Many Democrat-controlled states that rely on majority-minority districts could be forced to redraw their maps, possibly eliminating dozens of safe Democrat seats, up to 25 or more, by some estimates. This could mark the largest rollback of race-based redistricting since the Civil Rights Era, fundamentally altering the electoral landscape and tipping the balance in the House. It could also end for decades to come Democrat Party leadership at the national level. That is what I want to see happen. They are the true threat to our democracy.
Those Democratic voters aren't going to vanish into the ether just because there are fewer districts that use them as vote-sinks. No, they're going to continue voting in the surrounding districts, which will therefore be less safe for the Republic Party. Careful what you wish for!
