Tis becoming very popular in the UK at the moment. Thanks to a company called RyanAir, I'm going to Amsterdam for a weekend next month for the measly sum of one english penny. Admittedly I do have to pay airport tax, but it's only £15-20 at the most.

Do they have these kind of airlines in other parts of the world?

There are some relatively low cost airlines in the states, but nothing this outrageously cheap.

Tack on an extra two hours or so, and come see me. :D

18 months ago, Virgin started in Australia.

Since then, one of the major airlines have gone bust (Ansett) and the other... well thats government run (Qantas).

Sydney to Melbourne... $77 one way.... or about $35 US.

Truthfully? Nothing much worth a damn. LOL

There just isn't anything interesting locally. And I haven't had the time to explore, so I get lost easily. And have no idea how to get home. Sad, isn't it?

Great
So you theoretically live in a town, which you have no idea how to navigate, and in a house which existence is only confirmed by the fact it'll disappear if you leave it...
I guess I could always theoretically visit :D

LMAO!! I know how to get to the base and back, Schinnen and back, and to my supervisor's house and back. Oh yeah, Heinsberg and back. McDonald's, ya know.

I know it's sad. But if I'm not working, I'm home. Which is why I'm making some changes. But that's another story.
