I think whoever made up that saying was way too idealistic.
 
The one who said that has obviously never been in a relationship.

Sometimes love means saying sorry even when you aren't the one that is wrong - especially if the issue is minor and inconsequential.
 
I was a teenager when I read that line over and over and over in Erich Segal's Love Story. It sounded good for about ten minutes and then I got mad as hell at how much of a wimp it made Jenny in the book. It's one of those really nice for a philosophical discussion but won't work in a million years in real life things.
 
I', with you, I heard it once, thought, "OH!!!! That's SO sweet." Then I realized how dumb it sounded.

I agree.

Intentions don't matter as much as feelings.
 
i'm usually the one saying sorry...thats b/c i'm the one who's mostly wrong about things
