Log-In Problems?

Has anyone else been having trouble logging in to their account? I can log in from here in the discussion board section. But when I try to log in from the front page the log-in pop-up (user name & password) doesn't appear. The same thing happens both using IE and Firefox.

I've always logged in from the story page.

I'm never logged out, but logged out and back in just now with no issue.

Generally logging in and staying that way on the forums means you are logged in over the entire site. Sometimes for reasons unknown I'll get logged out. Since i always come to the forums before anywhere else I log back in here and I am logged in on my user page. That is where you check your stories for feedback and can look at the voting. No idea if it's actually called the user page I just call it that.
