Hey everyone, i've just finished and posted the entire first arc of my sci-fi story Sweet Venom which has multiple "Hot" rated chapters and is slowly accumulating more ratings, favourites and views every day.

Considering its just me random characters and ramblings, i'm super proud of this. Both of getting the first arc finished and having a generally really positive reception. I'm working towards refining the first arc now and beginning the second which will be uploaded in some time, i'm attempting to start a patreon + a website for my universe too which are big, time consuming projects, but its a good feeling.

Sweet Venom started 10 years ago as a porn story to explore some alien characters I made but turned into something much bigger, its great to be able to share it now that the beginning is better written and has something more going on.

Congratulations.

I posted a lot of poems on lit, and some stories on an alternate account designed to piss people off.

However, I've recently started working on my first real story. As of now, I'm 10,000 words deep, which is about 6,000 words longer than anything else I've done. I'm not finished yet but maybe by the end of the week, and I'm proud for seeing it through.

My co-author and I are wrapping up our Geek Pride submission. My second collab and quite literally a story which helped overcome some serious depression. Copy editing is done and we're just putting the finishing touches on it. It's my fifth Geek Pride Day entry in as many years - and the first done on time with days to spare.

I don't have a favorite, really, but I was proud in a way of my story from last Fall, Teddy Bear, because it's so daft. I had a lot of fun writing that story, and readers seemed to like it. It's done very well for a story in the "Toys and Masturbation" category. My stories generally do well but are not at the top of the list, score-wise, but this one is number 6 on the all-time highest-rated Toys and Masturbation story list.

I think I'm proudest of my 94% "H" rating on what I have submitted (61 out of 65).

I have explored different genres, short and long stories, and played around with how to submit them in ways that readers preferred. Through it all my following has been growing and they remain loyal, for the most part.

I have written over one million words, onto 316 Literotica pages and received mostly positive comments with the feedback increasing. I may keep this up a bit longer.

In two days, 5/13 it will be the 12th anniversary of my first story being published here.

12 years later, I'm still writing, posting occasionally here, but mostly in the pay market where this weekend(fingers crossed) I'll be publishing my 196th e-book.

Writing isn't always easy, not always fun, and it takes determination, tenacity, and a touch of insanity to keep doing anything for 12 years, so I think I'm most proud of the fact I'm still chugging along.

Thats pretty cool. I didn't how long you've been on here. Longer than me obviously, but 196 books. What was the story? The 1st one, is it still up?

It's ok. I can't see myself writing straight. I wrote about breast in one I'm doing, so I googled all kinds of stuff, sizes, nipple types, how they feel to the touch, and now I'm dreading what kinda spam/pop ups I'll get.

I'm almost done writing my first stroy. I have one more sexscene followed by some dialogue. I'm looking at 13,000-15,000 words or between three and four Lit pages. I still have to proof it, and find an editor, but I did it. Super proud and feeling accomplished.

Well done, you. It's an amazing feeling when you write and publish your first story. I couldn't help but check the stats every 5 minutes when I published but it does take time to get reactions. To be honest I couldn't believe how quick I managed to write over 100,000 words.

I'm not a quick writer by any stretch but I managed to get most of the body down in just over a month, even having to research various sexual bits and pieces that I never expected I would need to. I've never worked at this speed in my life but the original story that inspired mine created a weird connection to characters that I've never experienced before. I did feel a bit "Annie Wilkes" about the whole thing, especially starting exactly where the last story left the characters (THEY DIDN'T GET OUT OF THE HOWDY-DOODY, CAR!) but I'm proud of what I did as an unofficial sequel (with an unofficial nod from the original author).

I haven't published the chapter yet, but I wrote a parody of the song 'When I Was A Lad' from HMS Pinafore. It took me about an hour to write, but I laughed the whole time, and it fits in with the chapter it's a part of sooooo well...

That's awsome, getting a nod. It was weird writing the story and dialogue was easy. Everything's in the flow naturally. The sex however, I'm stopping every other sentence, like how does that feel and how do I write that down? I know damn well how it feels. Still, I seem to forget when it's time to put it on paper.
