Good morning all, glad to see everyone got themselves tucked in last night
I enjoy Mondays around here. Dynamics of life are always most noticeable on Mondays as it's almost a changing of the guard. There are definitely weekend Litsters and weekday Litsters. I hadn't really noticed that until I started this thread and paid a little closer attention to things.
What is something you noticed after being are awhile? What did being here awhile unveil to you?

What is something you noticed after being here a while? What did being here a while unveil to you?
I noticed that there is no correlation between the number of posts and wisdom.
So very true!
I now recognise that there is a small subset of Litsters who behave like some shoppers at my local supermarket -- they are so focussed on what they came in for that they abandon all etiquette, barging their way past others with their virtual trolleys, blocking the aisles obliviously as they engage in noisy one-on-one conversations, and grumbling at the staff as their credit card is refused in the "cash only" queue.I enjoy Mondays around here. Ah... yes! Also, in British English, if I'm "off my trolley" then I need to be carted off.Although I can only assume a trolley is a shopping cart.![]()

You'll notice with whom to trust slowly over time, as that list will take the longest to grow.
You'll notice with whom you enjoy casual PMs at a moderate pace, that list growing at the same rate.
You'll notice with whom to avoid/iggy the quickest, that list growing by the day.
Being here unveiled a person I always thought was deviant, disgusting and needed to be eliminated from all aspects of my life. I've come to embrace that side and while that has lead to struggles of its own, I would prefer this version of my reality as opposed to the former.

That's probably about right. Do they have bouncy walls and floors there? That could be fun.LOL - I'll just call you "off your rocker" and ship you off to the mad house.![]()
