Good morning all, glad to see everyone got themselves tucked in last night ;)

I enjoy Mondays around here. Dynamics of life are always most noticeable on Mondays as it's almost a changing of the guard. There are definitely weekend Litsters and weekday Litsters. I hadn't really noticed that until I started this thread and paid a little closer attention to things.

What is something you noticed after being are awhile? What did being here awhile unveil to you?

The trends of who posts when (weekdays, weekends, times). Those who tend to post in certain threads. The trouble makers. I've also started to be able to tell who has who on iggy.

I still suck at telling alts though.

I too noticed there are weekend and weekday litsters, and there are also morning and afternoon people and a few night owls. Like Lexie, I also am able to tell who has who on iggy sometimes. Again like her, I noticed who posts on what threads and who posts just to make trouble.

I can't tell one alt apart from the other!

It's become a little more obvious to me which users are men posing as women. Some are really obvious ("I'm 21 and in college and sooo horny, but my boyfriend is always out of town!"). I'm amazed people fall for some of the crap on here.

I'm also better at spotting fakes in AmPics.

I don't have time to try and figure out who is fake or not. Seems most real people post and interact with others. On personals, yeah I generally don't bother with that as I figure 97% are fake. I don't browse am pic enough to know or care. Being genuine is kind of a big deal to me. So, I don't cross paths to often with the fakes.

I noticed that there is no correlation between the number of posts and wisdom.

That the same old questions keep coming up, but the posters who could offer useful insight don't bother answering, presumably because they're tired of offering advice.

From a personal POV, there is less fetishising of trans women since I joined. I hope that is because we are better understood and not because of the parcel bombs I send out

I'm still clueless about the alts as well. Like Ricky, I have noticed who seems genuine and who doesn't. After awhile personalities just come across.

I now recognise that there is a small subset of Litsters who behave like some shoppers at my local supermarket -- they are so focussed on what they came in for that they abandon all etiquette, barging their way past others with their virtual trolleys, blocking the aisles obliviously as they engage in noisy one-on-one conversations, and grumbling at the staff as their credit card is refused in the "cash only" queue.
.

I just call in to have some fun with like minded individuals.

I peruse the pic threads, see what's happening where I've posted before, and generally attempt to be my usual polite self.

Don't understand the whole men-posting-as-women thing...?

LOL I have seen them!

This description not only made me laugh, but is probably one of the more accurate descriptions I've heard.

Although I can only assume a trolley is a shopping cart. ;)

You'll notice with whom to trust slowly over time, as that list will take the longest to grow.

You'll notice with whom you enjoy casual PMs at a moderate pace, that list growing at the same rate.

You'll notice with whom to avoid/iggy the quickest, that list growing by the day.

Being here unveiled a person I always thought was deviant, disgusting and needed to be eliminated from all aspects of my life. I've come to embrace that side and while that has lead to struggles of its own, I would prefer this version of my reality as opposed to the former.

Bloody wankers and their trolleys! That behaviour is right out!

I think I did that right ... I'm so American :(

As long as you are happy is what is most important!

Hrm. I noticed that after a while everyone seems to shift away from seeking sexual gratification to companionship.

After talking for years on here, I've become comfortable with my sexual desires and expressing them. I grew up in the Bible belt so sex, masturbation, kink of any kind was never talked about. Nowadays, friends tend to always talk sex or kink with me. "When I hear chains jingle, I think of you."- quote from one of my friends. Really. She said that at the salon.

In the end... I am who I am and this place helped me become comfortable with that.

Indeed! And they even have restraints. ;)
Oooh... take me there! :D

*observes sharp glare from Chained*

Umm.... I think we'd better allow this thread to get back on topic...

Edit: See also Twlightdreamer's contribution above that was rudely skipped by mine. :)
