I haven't cared for either of my last two topics, apparently I'm a bit rusty.

When you post for the first time each day, are you more likely to directly reply to a post on the thread or post something new and unrelated.

A rusty Chained? Oh no! ;)

(Welcome back, by the way)

Almost always, I browse through threads that interest me and try to reply directly to a post with something relevant. That way, I feel more "warmed up" and in tune with what's going on before possibly moving on to something new and unrelated.
.

It's Sunday, just got my church on so I'm good for another week of sinning. ;)

When you first came to Lit and started posting did you ever think you'd be as naughty with it as you are now? I know many will say they never imagined themselves interacting the way they do. A few have found Lit to be a life altering place. So I guess the question I'm asking is this: is your lit persona who you are or who you are when you are here?

I am me, more me than I am able to be in RL.

*runs in, hands Chained the oil* Lubricate!

I'll check threads I am subscribed to and see if anything interesting requires my two cents.

My Lit persona is different from my real life self. When I first came to Lit, I was learning more about my sexuality and desires. I've grown and become more concrete in that since coming to Lit. I'm a different person in real life though. There are parts of me that are only show to others after time. There are parts of me that even those closest to me will never know. My Lit persona is who I am.

I haven't cared for either of my last two topics, apparently I'm a bit rusty.

Depends on the thread, really. Usually I post something new, but sometimes there is someone I'd like to reply to. :)

Nice to see you posting, Chained!

Let me sum up:

Let's see...I'm a huge flirt in r/l. I think people from Lit who have met me in r/l would say I'm the same person online or off. I'm just me, y'all.

My personal ad would require an articulate man who realizes that I have very limited time. There would be more...but it's going to be one of my stories one of these days, so I'm not sharing. :p

I usually reply to a topic. I suck at "new & unrelated."

Is your lit persona who you are or who you are when you are here?

I would say if I don't know you, I will still wear a few masks on Lit, but far fewer than in RL. If I get to know you, some masks come off. A few have seen me without masks at all roaming these halls. It's a very scary face, better you don't see it. ;)

Reply to a post on the thread, typically this one for the last few days. After that, PMs and wherever else I feel like posting.

As we awaken to Monday, I wonder how many of us are glad the weekend is over. Sometimes, I need a Monday to recover from my weekend. Often times my work day pace is slower than my weekend pace. I think it's all from trying to cram so much into 2 days. I think I would like a permanent 3day weekend, I might feel more refreshed. Or be even more tired. ;)

All that to ask, if there was one thing you could change about your time at Lit, what would it be?

I second the permanent three day weekend.

I would change how naive I was in the beginning. Damn alts. Lol. I'm much more streetwise, litwise?, then I was.

You're speaking another language.
I will adapt.

I loved Seven of Nine, she was awesome!
I love her too. Obviously ;)
I loved her data storage devices located conveniently on her upper chest.

So true!

Pmann has been entertaining and surprising thoughtful in his questions, even if they had little to do with Litiquette. And in Literotica-ville, which can be very insular and see the same names dominating the threads, his questions drew out some lurkers and people who don't regularly post here. I think his contribution has been valuable. Except for ridiculing his beloved's clothing choices. Frankly, PDAs are far preferable to that.

Couldn't help but noticed Pmann answered his own questions, too. Just saying...:p
Welcome back

Agreed. What about SDA ? Attraction based on sexual desire? :D

I got you. I think Pmann is the borg-queen. We are being dragged in. Slowly. He already has changed from chainese to pmannese.

Borg king maybe ? " everybody wants to rule the world "

If only I could be more motivated .. Glad to see you back. :rose:

I vote for 3-day weekends and 6-hour work days, all while making the same salary. :D

The one thing I would change, like Shadowmist, is my naïveté in the beginning. I was treating the new friends I made on Lit similarly to those in real life. I learned rather quickly to practice more caution here in making these friends. But even now, there are one or two who still haunt me.

Oh a three day weekend sounds divine! Sign me up.

I actually wouldn't change anything. I've always been extremely cautious in my interactions (much to the annoyance of some, I think).

Maybe better SRP partners? Although I know I have no control over that! I have a few unfinished stories because my co-writer up and disappeared.

I would possibly change some of my behaviours here at the beginning.

And there was one friend I had some time ago that really stabbed me in the back. I'm not a naive person, but I suppose I was with her. She ended up really screwing someone over on the forum. I was a good friend to her and when she left she did so with a bang. I had never been anything but kind to her and she turned out to be pretty hurtful.

I start out stalking some of my favorite people to see what they have been up to, which leads to me reading the rest of that post, and then posting to something someone has said more recently. Usually.

I love Monday like most love Friday. The oldest is home today with 103  so off to the Dr at 10:15. I love the quiet, the calm, and not being constantly asked something.

I'd send more dick pictures.

Three day weekend...

I'd get more in touch with my feminine side. Bubble baths, pedicures, massages.

My original sig, as it offended a lot of people and I was completely unaware of the fact until a thread was actually started on it.

More meaningful conversations and discussions and less time spent on the superficial. Some of us are here to go deep (no pun intended ... perhaps a little) and some are not. You do have to get to know someone and the games and banter are ways of doing that. I crave talking without masks as I do it so infrequently. Perhaps that is selfish of me to say, but talking without any masks and just being myself wholly is very freeing to me, personally.

There are two kinds of strengths: the strength to lead, and the strength to follow; the strength to control, and the strength to yield. There are two kinds of power: the power to strip another's soul bare, and the power to stand naked. Do not mistake following for weakness, for it is not. Do not mistake yielding for weakness, for in yielding there is resilience. Do not mistake the submissive's need for relatedness for inability to be alone. Submissive women are not weaklings. They are sensitive people who have a great deal of resilience in the face of their particular challenges. Submissiveness is a strength seeking a proper context.

Quoted from Yaldah Tovah, the writer of an article titled "The Healthy Submissive"

I was told it was offensive because it insinuated that to be submissive one had to be healthy, and that not all submissives are emotionally healthy. Not exactly, but something along those lines. I did not ever have a clear understanding of why it was offensive, but over in the BDSM talk section there is a thread called "Healthy Sub", I believe, which was started in direct reference to my sig. There was some heated discussion in the thread, but all in all, the discussion that followed was pretty thought provoking. *shrug*

ETA: I don't want to derail this thread, which is why I referenced the thread that was started in the BDSM section for anyone who is further curious.

In the end, there was interesting debate. Although, no one ever really agreed with my position, one of the gentleman that posted on the thread never disagreed with my position. Because he happens to be someone that I respect immensely on this site, that was enough for me to feel somewhat vindicated, I guess, but I still took my sig off.

I agree! I would love to know the real people also. I am not one to wear a mask, I am who I am, online or offline.
