No, somehow I always end up being the one others rely on.
Although, the one time they brought me into hospital by ambulance, I was glad the paramedics kept telling me the doctor would have me back on my feet in no time. The one person at home at the moment who would have done the same, had to stay at home to stop my husband from panicking.

I have. A few years back I badly broke my leg in a fall in the Sierra Nevada's, near Tahoe. My climbing companions moved me to a small meadow and then the park rangers arranged for me to be lifted out in a helicopter. Not fun. Or cheap. They all might have been sexy as hell, LOL, but I didn't notice.

I'm being rescued right now in a way. I'm working on getting a biz up and running and that's a struggle.

I am more likely the rescue-er than the rescue-ee, but I love the idea of being rescued like they show on the front of those romance novels. Any volunteers? (Daz the Firefighter looks like he could do that . . . )

Totally this for me when it comes to posting in AmPics. Although I think I'm a bit more of an attention whore than Thandi is.

As for posting outside of AmPics, I sometimes just wander over here just to see what's going on. Different set of folks than over there, and generally some interesting conversations happening that I sometimes just feel like jumping into.

I enjoy the debates and conversation. My pic thread is because I like to laugh. And there are certain "token" pics I would always see in the Am Pics section that made me laugh. So, that's kind of why I started that thread.

The main reason I post is to laugh and hopefully make others laugh as well. I can't have a good time if I'm not laughing (unless I'm wanking, then it would look weird to laugh). But sometimes, I'm sure I'm laughing like crazy and people are annoyed to bits with me. Oh well. I'm laughing.

New or old to the boards, post when you have something to contribute, you'll come off looking way better. This really is a place where quality is valued over quantity
