Happy Saturday everyone. It's spring and I hope everyone is enjoying the fact that the long miserable winter seems to be behind us. We've discussed how Lit allows us the freedom to explore further who we are and to test what we enjoy. But what have you brought from RL that has made your Lit life better? Or is it a one-way street, and we tend not to bring in too much from RL?

I think I bring me, just as I am.

I don't mind BDA (and am pretty guilty of it at times) but what does make me vomit in my mouth is when you see the same person dribbling and in love with a different person every other week. Oh please... you're not in love, you're just a fucking loon.

I think this is what makes too much BDA unsavory to me too.

I bring myself. I don't believe in being someone or something you're not. People can get hurt when others pretend to be something they're not. Lying and pretending to be something you're not is something I can't tolerate.
It helps my Lit life because I don't need to lie or pretend to be someone else or have to remember who I said what to. I'm upfront I think it makes life much easier.

Yes, being me all the time certainly makes life easier; I can't imagine how complicated it would be if I would be someone else all the time and I wonder how those who do, do it. Do they have files for everyone they 'correspond' with and for all their own personas?

Oh my, I think I got this one once too.
It doesn't work. For me. Not as a first PM. It makes me feel a bit queasy. In a strain of PMs an opening like that might have other effects.
