As a man...never. You never ever push any limits. It must ALWAYS be up to the woman to make the first overt move, to let you know she is truly interested. It NEVER works out if it's the other way around. Because men always assume that sex is on the table, or at least hope it is. Topic - innuendo to actuality. Is innuendo a signal that the other person would welcome more overt conversation. When do you push past innuendo?

Are we talking Lit, or real life? On Lit, I sometimes flirt hard on the threads, but don't always want that interaction off the threads. I realize that's a hard thing for the other person to read or judge, so I try to be nice about it.

In real life? Well, it's frankly been so long that I can't remember.

I am talking about complaining about couples doing it when everyone does it.

A gaggle of women, men and women, sometimes men.

It happens no big deal and to point out just a certain segment is just ridiculous.

Ohhhh! I liked my idea better - but, that does happen. We forget, as we age, what a gulf time can be. I laugh whenever I hear someone say, in reference to music, that they are kicking it old school - and then they talk about some song from the nineties. Or they say "Back in the Day" - and reference something in the last decade. Old is sure relative.

Hello Saturday Litiquette-izans. Looking at the sky it appears the storm clouds are gone and there's nothing but beautiful Lit sunshine filling the room. This morning's topic: last night I dreamt a good friend died. There seems to be no explanation for the dream. When I see him today, should I tell him about the dream? Why or why not?
