Generally I say I am opposed to them. Which of course now means this thread will be flooded by them. There are times one a picture is worth 1000 words but a picture with words on it is usually not worth much.

Tangent - the Super Bowl is less than an hour away. Those of you engaging in social media during the game, please refrain for doing play by play. I'm already watching and if I'm not, you're just cluttering up my timeline.

Reading through threads it dawns in me that in the PG, the 80/20 rule applies. 80% of posts come from 20% of those in the room

Which means, there's a whole lot of lurking going on. And right now, there's probably at least a dozen people doing horribly inappropriate things to themselves while checking out your profile.

Edited for further thought:

And checking out the view counts is very telling.

More so than usual lately. :rose:

I feel that way too, but I have (as always) a theory

It's like listening to Country Music.

It is diagnostic. Whatever jumps out at you has something to do with either where you are, where you are headed, or what you are trying to escape.

or something.

I'm big on the or something.

This morning's Litiquette tip, if someone posts something completely asinine on a thread, I recommend ignoring it completely and don't give it merit by acknowledging it with a reply. The negative response is what they seek and by denying them you frustrate them.

Morning Chained,

I think your phone dropped the "don't" give it merit (NOT being a grammar natzi, just being helpful!).

:rose:

Thanks Thandi,

That wasn't being a grammar Nazi (as I believe the word omniscience didn't impact the grammatical level of the sentence) but it sure as hell made a works of difference in intent and meaning. Thanks for being an early morning set of proof-reading eyes.

Okay, so I've been lurking in here just to see what I should (and shouldn't) be doing, It's just so damned entertaining. But now that I've posted, I'm no longer lurking, right?

We, you could be a one-post wonder ;)

Informative and entertaining, well then, this just may be the Holy Grail of threads. :D

Thanks for the kind words, stick around and be prolific :)

Yes! That's it! I want to be a one-post wonder! Anything I say will add zilch to the conversation.
