*chuckle*sounds dangerous. I'm too virginal to chat here.

I'm just hear to take advantage of the educational opportunity..
and to broaden my horizons
spread my wings
nurture my secret garden
Same here. Only my garden isn't such a secret.
Here's an excerpt from one I started a few weeks ago....
It had been a while since she had felt the touch of another human being. When her last relationship ended, she had moved home and threw herself into work. She knew she didn’t need the stress of a rebound relationship, so she avoided dating for the most part. There had been a couple of guys over the last year, but it never went past a date or two. The guys just didn’t strike her fancy, and she wasn’t interested in a one night stand, although they ended up that way.
She realized she was aroused and horny. She wasn’t in the mood for toys though, plus she didn’t feel like getting up off the loveseat. She would just have to either make-do or go to sleep.
The more she tried to focus on sleeping, the more her arousal grew. She decided to stop fighting the thoughts and let them flow. It always amazed her with the direction they went. She began focusing her mind on each thought as it came through. The first one was of lips. She missed being kissed. Passionately, deeply.
Her thoughts focused on a pair of lips. She could see a cupid’s bow. Her eyes were still closed, but she began tracing them in her mind. The curve of the bottom lip, how plump it was, as if inviting her to nibble and bite it. They were soft and inviting, and she wanted to run her finger along the crease where the pink of the lip met the paleness of the skin. She smiled as she imagined the light sheen left behind after a wet tongue ran across them.
Her focus on the lips began to broaden, as if zooming out of a photograph. She began to notice dark stubble. A day, maybe two days’ worth. She followed its path around the upper lip, noticing the line of skin between the pink of the lip and the dark stubble above, and how it perfectly traced the dip of the cupid’s bow. She continued tracing it with her mind’s eye to the small smooth spot at the corner of the lips to where it picked back up just before the plumpest part of the bottom lip, just before the center.
Because generally, when you extend an invitation, you want something. Really want it. And most people feel a sense of shame at rejection. They might also feel like if they just say 'okay, thanks!' that they're giving up too easily. Also, they really want it, and would like an opportunity to explain why they think it would be a good idea for you to give it to them.Just a question, perhaps a little rant too...
Why is it when you politely decline an invitation <giving a reason> does the other person find it necessary to want to discuss your reason more and change your mind? If someone takes the time to message I do try to respond back to say something even if it's "no thank you". No wonder people don't bother to respond sometimes! <huff>

I'd agree in RL, like at a bar, but you'd think on Lit, where guys are sitting at home with no pressure on them, they have time to think of the best response and they still come back with face-plant comments. On Lit the most sincere approach surely has to be to compliment someone's writing or their opinion, but to say "Yur sexy - do u wanna play?" particularly when you've just been discussing a serious topic is beyond stupid.Because generally, when you extend an invitation, you want something. Sometimes it's just easier not to respond. Some guys just don't know the meaning of no. Their ego can't take it. But I'm different if you knew me then you'd see that....yadda yadda yadda. Sometimes you end up with a mouthful of abuse when you try to explain your reasons. You shouldn't have to justify your reasons to begin with. No means no and should be accepted as such.Thank you allIt didn't merit a second message but I still felt aggravated that they still wanted to "Change my mind". This is something that happens quite frequently and in , the past I have found myself responding to make it clearer only for a sort of argument to arise. I don't go down that path now.
Guys complain about not getting a response are they just complaining because it's not a "oh yes please!" answer? I can totally understand why people don't enter into correspondence.

Something tells me you will eventually get tired of 'doing the right thing' by responding and politely declining. You will just ignore. From the things I hear, its the best way. For me.... when I get ignored.. usually will only follow up with 2 or three.. ok.. 5 more pms. Max.![]()
depends on the intent...perhaps they like the same game/boards as you?Early morning topic: there are people, although mostly guys, that will post stalk a person and immediately post after them no matter the thread or the topic. It can be harmless but when does it get creepy?
