Good morning Litiquetteville!

In the world of Lit lust we often low our minds to wander to "what if we were together in RL" the vast majority of us never will. But if you could be with your Lit partner for a weekend without anyone else finding out, would you do it. Why or why not?

Absolutely. Or so I like to think.
But I'd also have to think about coming home afterward. I wonder if it would change me, or us, somehow. It would have to be the perfect person, perfect circumstances, and we'd have to be completely understanding of the other's position. Does the relationship change from there? Sex sometimes changes things, especially when it's the earth shattering, exactly what you need kind of sex that you haven't gotten anywhere else. I overthink shit.

I wish I could.:rose:
But I would know. ..and I'd never do that to him...the guilt would not make it worth it.:(

Such a tempting question ...

It would be great fun.

My answer is Lit-Hypothetical since I do not have a Lit partner.

If it had to been hidden so no one would ever find out - I wouldn't do it. Just as a general life rule I try not to do things I have to hide. Secret's aren't and I have a wickedly efficient conscience that can wield guilt as efficiently as a master swordsman.

Now, if I wasn't worried about hiding it - then yes, I would, with my hypothetical partner, who, in the immediate moment of my imagination just looked a lot like Monica Bellucci in "The Brotherhood of the Wolf".

Wow Paul, how did you know I looked like her?? lol j/k ;)

Anyway, I have to agree with Paul on this one. If it has to be a secret then it isn't worth it because it just means that someone will get hurt.

The guilt would likely eat me whole, but it would be oh so much fun.

Like MedicalMuse, though, I do wonder how it would change things between the Lit partner and me. My guess is that things would go one of two ways: either fizzle entirely, or heat up to an extreme. Things certainly wouldn't remain the same as before the RL meeting. So, guilt aside, the question then becomes whether or not it's worth the risk.

That is a resounding yes for me. Did I say that?

You gave a disclaimer....'if no one else would find out'...so yes....I would, in a heartbeat. I'd like to say the guilt would eat at me...but I'm almost positive it wouldn't...(feel free to judge-I'm tough)
I'm going to assume the unwritten disclaimer is that the lit partner has already offered.
I will try and redeem my character by saying this would be easy for me ...because of my current situation in real life. In a 100 other realities I could give 100 different answers.

Absobloodylutely and I'd tell EVERYONE!!! :D

So other Lit partners will not find out about the weekend with the Lit partner you are having a weekend with?

Cause I'd be more concerned with them finding out than anyone in "real life"

No way, no how. No one here is as valuable to me as my family is.

This made me laugh.

To answer my own question...I really don't know. On the yes side, if the opportunity involved things I wasn't currently getting, then sure, why not. On the no, I agree it could go either really poor or be out of this world fantastic. Of it was bad, the Lit relationship would fade. If it was fantastic, well then what? ;).

But if you made me answer, I'd say yes, best to live with regret of what you've done versus the regret of never having done, as I have enough of that ;)

With the two people I'd have considered Lit partners, which was before there was such a thing, I'd have said yes. Over the past several years, I've had no one with whom I would say I have that type of relationship with, so it's an easy answer of no.

to answer this mornings question. Yes I would, but then that is the advantage of being single.

Lit partners.
As in gang bang.

And hells yea!

For me, if given the opportunity I would take it. Depending on the circumstances, yes, there would be some guilt involved. But I'm okay with taking the chance of having a Lit relationship go sour just to see how it would actually be hanging out with someone. Probably a strange mentality to have but that's how I feel. The positives outweigh the negatives as far as I'm concerned. Especially if this is with no one else finding out.

I agree with the whole fizzle or heat up deal. And I suppose that is the danger. Mainly if it continues to heat up.

Everyone wants to be made to feel special...

There is something about the fact that it is all happening without others knowing that makes the whole experience heightened.

I have turned down a situation from someone here on Lit because she was married. I do sometimes regret it, but I think I'd have regretted it more if I had actually gone through with it.

Sometimes fantasies should stay as fantasies.
