Potato bake!

I make mine with bacon, onions and heavy cream. My secret ingredient is Dijon mustard. Every potluck I bring one and Americans go nuts.

I also love potato salad with bacon, onions and corn. That's how I grew up making it and I have so much nostalgia.

Trekka is on the money with roasted sweet potato and cinnamon sugar. I go a step further and at sour cream. The juxtaposition in my mouth is to die for.

there may be no better potato than a baked potato; but the toppings will admittedly change depending on my mood.
Season the skin and grill it until it yields without resistance..

Is potato salad, tuna salad, chicken salad, etc. a regional/Midwest thing? Sometimes I feel like someone had some sort of leftover, some lettuce, mixed it with mayo or Miracle Whip and said, look, it’s a salad!

I’m oddly not much of a potato person unless it’s a soup like vegetable stew or cheddar baked potato soup.

I'm not sure I ever really had a traditional Disney type fairy tale.
Now if we want to talk about Obsessive Characters. Definitely.

But never really the prince that would come sweep me off my feet.

I was the cowgirl, who dreamed of the cowboy coming and doing that.

I grew up in the horse showing world. So there was never a shortage of hot men running around in tight jeans. My Childhood dream was always that one of these men was eventually going to sweep me off my feet, we'd ride off on our horses, build a farm, travel around the world to Rodeos and have a family. Pretty simple.
Eventually I grew up...

I married the Service Tech. So we have a farm of animals and vehicles.

I’m not a big fan of fairy tales, I suppose. I guess I like the idea of Shrek best. I mean, as a 600lbs man with a tail, it’s nice to think that some princess finds me attractive. I loved Little Red Ridinghood and Hansel & Gretel. They were my favourite as a child. I remember being terrified but excited by the story at the same time. I also love Beauty and the Beast too. Sooo, I’m clearly a hopeless romantic who likes to be scared shitless apparently

I agree with the wolf people^^^as a fan of the werewolf myself, I have to go with Little Red or the Three Little Pigs. The illustrations of the old classics are wonderfully terrifying.

I grew up reading Hans Christian Andersen and Brothers Grimm books. The art work beautiful and the stories are pretty dark. I can’t believe that’s I read back in the day.

My favs are Three Billy Goats Gruff and The Gingerbread Man.
