You guys are fuckin animals.

All I’ve got so far is that my movie opens at dusk in a hut on the beach on a remote pacific island, and a sweaty Jason Momoa and even sweatier Dwayne The Rock Johnson are arm wrestling each other over who’s gonna give me surfing lessons in the morning.

I would soooo be in that movie T!

But how am I ever going to be able to afford to pay either (or both! ) of them for my surfing lesson when my purse was still on our boat when it sank? I haven't got any money, or jewelry, or anything, just my towel, my skimpy little bikini and a really great tan! :)

I, like HW, have thought about this a lot.

My movie is called The Mind of a Dick. Basically, it’s a play on words. Because you don’t know if it’s about the mind of a guy who is a dick. Or literally the thoughts of my dick. The twist is... it’s both.

More to come later.

Oh dear.
I'm looking forward to read this. lol

For some reason this makes me think of Will Ferrell in Talladega Nights (maybe because hub's and I just watched it again recently) - hint: my advice would be to make it a comedy :D

Looking forward to hearing more about it too Lord P!

Alright.
I've got more.
Bear with me, as I'm terrible with plot.

But I'm thinking the next scene would involve Bradley Cooper and Chris Hemsworth swooping into the beach hut to rumble with Aquaman and The Rock. Some sort of ruckus over defending my honor.

Since I'm the only one who's ever gonna watch this movie, I'll just play myself.

Any scenario where it involves Michael Fassbender and me making a porn movie, I'm in.

I'm a terrible actor. I am actually in a feature length fun w and I watched it again recently. So cringey! I have like twelve different accents throughout.

That being said, I want to watch your movie!!

Alright...

THE MIND OF A DICK: The Lord Pmann Story

“In a world where all the guys are complete pussies, one stands out to all...”

*lord pmann enters the room*

Played by Seth Rogan, Nick Kroll or Bradley Cooper, it’s the story of a normal guy who goes in every day to his pretty normal job. But unlike most people who have a devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other, lord pmann has two very large penises. The good one is named Richard. He gives such good advice like, “If you’re gonna jerk off at work, do it in the bathroom” and “If you’re gonna jerk off to porn, look at it on your phone.”

But then they’re the bad dick named Harry that tries to get lord pmann to do very bad things. “Why not just jerk off on that asshole’s chair?” Or, “That asshole is making this meeting too long. Why don’t you smack him in the ear with your dick?”

Lord pmann struggles day in and day out with his choices. Seemingly, everything revolves around jerking off or hitting people with his dick.

Then, one day, he meets a beautiful girl with massive tits (played by Christina Hendricks). She’s gorgeous. Sexy. Funny. She makes him laugh. But the two dicks are constantly telling him to “stick it in her ass” or “grab her by the pussy”.

He really likes her. He thinks maybe it’s time to use the other head to make some decisions.

Does his love for the girl with big tits supersede his need to seed? Or will he be caught between a cock and a hard place?

Alternative title for the UK is Between Two Richards.

This is a drama directed by Martin Scorsese.

I have to say this sounds like a Scorsese film I’d actually enjoy!

Let’s talk about art.

How much original art (paintings, drawing, sculpture, ect.) do you own?
Limited edition signed prints?
Are you drawn to a particular style, movement or medium?
Curious on the artist’s inspiration or meaning behind each work or would you rather not know and interpret it yourself?

Traditional Art .. Paintings, drawings. I don't have anything professional.
I keep all the paintings my daughter has done. (that she doesn't keep herself)

I'm more of a Photography person. I have family pictures around my house. I have scenery pictures. Pictures we had done in Vegas (spray paint art)

Photography is the biggest "art" in our house and around me though.

My home is filled with plants and photos. I have two prints on my walls. One is an illustration of different botany and the other is an Alex Ross illustration of the Uncanny X-Men (definitely my husband's tastes but it does look really cool).

I do have original baby Aussie art on my fridge, though.

Like those above me, I much prefer to repurpose things and make them beautiful. My plants are in an assortment of eclectic pottery.

I have a few paintings that my mum done, Scottish landscapes, and a they are a really beautiful reminder of how talented she was ❤️ I have black and white photography of my favourite places in Scotland. My house is an an old mill cottage so I have quite a bit of recycled pieces too.

I don’t own any art that can really be called art.

But my favorite artist is Edward Hopper. The Norman Bates psycho house was modeled by Hitchcock after one of Hopper’s paintings, so I have to love him for that.

But also “The Automat” and “New York Movie 1939” are my two favorites. There’s just something about those moments that he captures perfectly.

I also love what I would call “pulp novel cover” art. I’m not really sure what that style is called but it was captured perfectly on Stephen King’s Joyland cover.

I have a poster of Shemar Moore somewhere. I had it hanging in my bedroom when I lived at home. I don't care what anyone says... that's art! :D

My mom described my style as bohemian chic. I have quite a bit of original (local) art I’ve picked up along the way. I also like to take my kiddo’s work and display it. And I love ALL the colors. And then there’s all sorts of bookish stuff around and actual books.

It’s been interesting since my partner is very clean lines, black and white, and lots of Harley Davidson and golf stuff. So there has been some compromise....on his part. :cattail:

Yes, I have a fair share of limited edition and original artworks and some professionally carved oddments and blacksmithing work. I used to have quite a lot more but it vanished over the years.

I'm not terribly artistic but I do like photography and at one time was heavily involved with outdoor photography. lately, I've become more interested in blacksmithing and learning to make household items for gifts.

There are a number of remarkably creative and gifted artists here on Lit so in a lot of ways this ends up being very informative whenever they discuss or share their work.

I got tons!
But.
It’s from family and friends.
No signed original Picassos. Yet!

I love my house. It’s filled with my collage and printmaking, my mom’s paintings, my dad’s handmade furniture, my brother’s stained glass, my other brother’s photography, my BF’s metalwork, the kids’ artwork. Quilts and tablecloths and hand crocheted lace from grandmas and aunties.

And one electric, rainbow banana masterpiece from a very special artist. :)

I can’t afford much “real” art altho I might pick up a print every now and again, usually when I’m on vacation. Or a hand crafted item. Like a giant turquoise metal heart with wings that’s flying up my bedroom wall.

Fun, colorful, meaningful to me... some sort of story behind it. That’s what I’m looking for.

For me, I always think I have an idea of what was going through the artist’s head... and then I find out the story behind the piece and I’m almost always dead wrong. But I still like my interpretation better. :)

I desperately want to see this house. It sounds like a home 💛

I also have a lot of quilts. My mother is a professional quilter and I know to take one spare suitcase home for all the quilts that will come back with me.
