The poll has been up for a bit, and as I suspected Litsters think highly of their sexual prowess. Of course this is a sex based site, so there’s that bias. And no one wants to own being bad at sex, just like no one ever admits to being that driver on the road that we all have to watch out for. But, are we really as good as we think we are? (No need to self promote your skills)? Or are we too embarrassed that we aren’t?

I don’t think a person is necessarily good or bad at sex. We all have our great moments and bad moments.

Like the driving analogy, I’m generally a good and safe driver, however, I have made some really stupid choices that could have ended badly and thankfully didn’t. Anyone who drives a car has those moments, but generally we get where we need to be when we need to be there.

I like to think of myself as someone who strives for greatness at sex, but I also accept that I’m human and not always going to be great. I try to think of sex as a fun activity together, like playing on the playground, but with more fun things to climb on ;)

It also takes two to tango, so even if you are the greatest sex-giver of all time if the other person is like an old dried up sex toy with a dead battery then you’re not going to be that good either.
