I can be wise and mature beyond my years and ridiculously childish. I keep waiting to grow out of this, but so far, no luck. I can be kind and generous. But then I also just do not trust anyone, not completely, not ever.

I would rather do something for your sake that I get nothing out of, then trust your motivation in wanting to do something for me.
 
I like to think I’m a nice guy. I have a lovey family and lots of friends who all seem to enjoy spending time with me, and I them. I get on well with work colleagues and clients and relationship-building is usually top of my list of strengths at annual appraisal time. And yet I do things and behave in ways that would tear my family apart and make most of my friends walk away from me in disgust if they knew about them. Go figure.

I don’t think I’m a psychopath since I have deep emotional connections with people and I fear hurting those I love. But my moral compass is so fucked I sometimes wonder if I even have one.

Another thing that seems shocking about me... For as childish as I act on here, I am quite serious about some things and I really value genuine conversation and depth.

Our beliefs, our social norms and practices are kind of made up. We’re basically just apes in pants. So when it comes to being hypocritical in my behavior, I like to remind myself that life isn’t a one size fits all deal.
I want world peace, but I accept that we are going to have to set some people on fire to achieve it.
We are all equal, even though none of us are equal in any conceivable way.
Monogamy is beautiful, but there are a lot of women I would like to plug my penis into.
In other words, we’re not robots. It’s okay to be on both sides of the aisles, to like RC cola over Coke or Pepsi, to like Wendy’s over McDonalds or Burger King, or to like all of them at once.

Does the porn industry have it all wrong?

The overwhelming majority of porn is targeted toward men. The majority of the time we see men being serviced in some way, sometimes there is fucking and mutual satisfaction by both parties or all parties. However, the vast majority of it is guy doing his thing, and when he gets off the show is over.

I'd much rather watch a woman get satisfied! It is so much hotter when a woman is going crazy and getting off!! Yet, this is a fairly rare scene in porn. What says you?

But I disagree with the assertion "the majority of the time we see men being serviced in some way." I would say the "majority" of porn out there is centered upon a woman or women doing something "sexual."

Semantics, perhaps.

I appreciate all my personality contradictions because they make me who I am and, I think, create a needed balance for me. Most people see one or the other of these unless you know me well and then get to enjoy the confusion.
