I'd forgotten about this alt. It had a PM from a year ago, asking if I wanted to role play and liked to be spanked:eek:

I should keep good ole "Jessie" around. Maybe she can post vanity threads about me and tell everyone how hot and sexy I am.

Tell them I'm riotous....

Maybe I'll take this for a ride in the GB later.

You've also been on the top 250 list for quite some time. Longer than me I believe. So guess I'm not the 'dumb one' here.

The primary point is that I don''t obsess where I am on the list and Scouries not only is obsessed with it, he also puts major effort into the perceptions of where he is. Writing mainly GM in this account on basically a hetero site, I don't expect to rank high, although something that hovers around 130 of what's probably 60,000 authors here (Lit. once numbered them on the author's listing; stopped doing so when it was something over 50,000) seems satisfying enough to me--someday maybe I'll check to see who is ahead of me whose file is primarily GM, which is the most relevant comparison, if comparison must be done--someday when I'm not busy writing stories. Scouries is so unhappy with his own stories that he has to spend his time cheat hyping them rather than writing new ones. The stories themselves obviously don't live up to his own desires.

Well before you keep disparaging his writing you should take into account that his alt(well his original name actually) has two of your much vaunted green E's that you think mean so much.

https://www.literotica.com/stories/memberpage.php?uid=223701&page=submissions

Can't cheat those, right? That's what you're fond of saying. So now you either have to own up that he's done some decent writing at some point or own the fact Green E's come from one person, based on one opinion and are meaningless.

Have fun sputtering on that one.

The issue was his stories living up to the hype he gives them. They'd have to be worthy of the Nobel Prize in Literature to live up the hype he's given them. Something far, far better than earning a Green E here--or even a Green E, Blue W, and Red H combo.

There, how's that LC? Your disparagement of Green Es will last right up until you get one--just like happened with the blue W. ;)

The boss had to spend yesterday in Boone, N.C.! Which didn’t make him happy. Fortunately I wasn't invited! The people up there don’t read stories in LITEROTICAS favorite category – they live them. However the Canes did win which helped. He’s now in Boston for the big game – hoping for a Miami football sweep weekend.

https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/564x/4b/b0/84/4bb0842c84032e47206636d5733303c1.jpg

But when I talked to jim on the phone a few minutes ago we had a good laugh over ace’s latest post. Here for years the Gay community has been crying to be treated equally, to be measured by their abilities and results and not their orientation. And now our resident gay author says that’s not fair, that he wants to go back in the closet? "Relevant comparison" - C’mon man!

Does Jaz Cullen 5300 favs or Elianna 3800 favs complain that it’s not fair because they write NonHuman stories? Don’t think so…
Does JustPlainBob 3900 favs complain because he writes in the toughest category on LIT? Don’t think so…
Does secretme 3000 favs cry because her work is mainly Erotic Horror and NH? Haven’t heard her complain…
Or did soular 2400 favs say it wasn’t fair because she wrote in Interracial? Nope!
Or wistfulthinking 3300 favs? How about boxy 2100 favs and his weird Pauletta? Was it fair for him?
What about DoctorWolf and his 4000+ favorites? Does he complain about his category? Haven’t heard him…
And even the brilliant silky with her 16,000 favorites ventures often into the Lesbian category and doesn’t seem to worry about it.

The only cry baby seems to be you. With your 900 submissions! More than all other authors on the site except for your pal SamuelX. None of the above noted authors have submitted anywhere near the number of submissions that you have but they all have more favorites! So please, stop coming up with these silly excuses for your failures.

It doesn’t matter what category you write in my good man – instead it’s how well you write! How interesting your story is. Again we get back to yours and jim’s debate - your QUANTITY against his QUALITY. Remember ace one great story will get you more "favs" than a hundred poor ones.

Speaking of favorites. As soon as i mentioned scouries was only 23 favorites ahead of the guy behind him, he suddenly gained 7 favorites to being him back up to exactly 30 over the guy below. Seven favorites over night for someone who hasn't posted a story in over 4 years? How does that work?

Still no answers. fifteen favorites in three days with no new stories. Sounds like someone is stuffing the favorites list and has been for four years.

dumb, dumber, and dumbest... and their ALTS!

QUOTE ace It's sort of logical that anyone who hasn't posted stories to Lit for years will drop out of the top 10--well, almost anyone.
That deserves emphasis.

ace…ace… ace…

God! Now you’re QUOTING the other loser!
Don’t you realize that when you start quoting the intellectually challenged that it reflects badly on you?
Don’t tell me he’s become your latest BBF…

not so much…

And as it turns out your supposition is wrong! Another bit of misinformation from ace.

The list below is showing how many new “favorites” each of the top 25 most “favorited” received from August 2015 until September 2016.

Authors who published no new stories on LITEROTICA in 2015 or 2016 are shown in bold. Contrary to what the three stooges ridiculous and dishonest posts implied, 12 of the 25 didn’t publish on LITEROTICA during that period and yet still remained on the list. What? And another 5 or so have posted very little over the last few years.

Didn’t the three stooges insinuate that the only way for this to happen would be if an author somehow cheated?

Does that mean that they believe these super star great authors - Many Feathers, rgjohn, Ahabscribe, Slickman, TryAnything, youbadboy, DoctorWolf, PacoFear, Elianna, the unmentionable one and james r scouries are all cheaters?

Even a fool knows that this isn’t true. But it does make you wonder who the real cheaters are and why the three stooges are insulting them …

Actually the most interesting thing about this list is how many “favorites” some of the authors got. silky :rose: led the way with some 4700 new “favs” – an astonishing number! But we only have to look at the most recent contest to believe every one of her 4700 favs are legitimate. Her 4 stories in the contest (in 4 different categories) generated 4500 votes and 440 story favs. Incredible!

And the brilliant HeyAll likewise showed why he has climbed the list so successfully over the last year. His 4 contest stories (in 3 different categories) received 4000 votes and 360 story favs. So for him to receive 2000 author favs in a year could only be expected. Another year like this one and he’ll climb even higher.

There is only one author’s numbers that don’t seem to add up at first glance. Supposedly he received 2000+ author favs over the last year but his most recent contest performance certainly doesn’t suggest it could be a “legitimate” number. He had nothing like the number of views or votes of the two previously mentioned authors. So how did he do it? He does have a past history of contest vote rigging but has he now expanded his repertoire to “favorites” list rigging? We’ll never know! Maybe he’s turned over a new leaf and he did earn them… Wouldn’t it be nice if we could see all the readers who have favorited all the sites authors just so that we could check. LAUREL!!!! Where are you?

Thanks for the nice words Mr Scouries. I appreciate the props.

And thanks for those interesting stats.

Let me ask you this: You've pointed out that several authors who haven't posted in year(s) have still gained hundreds of new favorite authors. How do you think that has happened? Meaning, how do you think readers are finding these older stories/authors? Any theories?

One small thing you didn't cover with your show of numbers of favorites. Ahabscribe has posted 14 stories at least since you last posted one. Like i said, not posting a story in four years and getting exactly enough favorites to stay 25-30 ahead of him. Very interesting to say the least.

You can flash all the numbers you want but it doesn't change a thing. You haven't posted a story in four years but you stay right where you are. How is that possible? It sure isn't your overblown stories, that's for sure.

If he had top list stories, I could see some activity because they are always visible.

But his pumping his own favs does keep those two bucket of suck stories he's always touting on the the all time favorited story list.

But what else helps him and a handful of other authors is this.

https://www.literotica.com/a/

Down at the bottom "in the spotlight" the most recent spotlighted story is three years old and scouries story has been on this list since I first saw it a couple years ago.

I'm not sure if this thing updates or not, I don't check it all the time, but again scouries has permanent residence on it.

This site is 100% in cahoots with his bullshit. There is no doubt about it.

Seeing this thread is a good place to point things out. Here's one that has always been suspicious to me.

This site runs sweeps weekly or so. If a story has been trolled it should see a bump.

Yet a lot of contest stories are immediately trounced after placing and yet never come back up. My nude day story dropped .10 and never came back up at all even though it was obvious bombing.

Everlux story has been getting batted all over the place, yet she has seen no sweep either.

of course she hit number one in group and we all know whose been #1 in that for a long time and who has a....let's say cabin full of people taking care of it for them.

Again I think this site knows exactly what goes on and caters to who they want to cater to. It is getting more and more obvious as time goes by.

It is a hairball thread. :D

But honestly? If you pick through the hair, you can find some actual truth. Amid scouries lies and babbling about best sellers he hits on a lot of issues the rest of us know are here. He just does it in the middle of the other stuff so its discounted.

Its the sites way of saying yeah we know what's wrong here and we think its funnier to watch people pile on scouries than it is to actually fix it.

Bumping this thread doesn't just feed scouries it feeds the sites warped GB sense of humor.

First off I’d like to thank the ever lovely Jacqui for holding the Scouries World fort this past weekend while yours truly was following the football wars. And as usual our friend ace ran away when he was confronted by facts that belied his silly attempts at troublemaking. When you hitch your horse to the dumb one as ace has been doing and start quoting his idiocies the immediate result is you look as bad as he.

Now HeyAll let me address your question. But first let me explain why an author doesn’t slide down the “MOST FAVORITED AUTHOR” list very quickly. It’s simply a matter of the numbers. Once you get high up on the list (I was 3rd on the list at one time) it’s not easy to be overtaken. Presently the 25th author on the list has 3814 “favs” which is some 2000 “favs” behind the 10th place author. Even if you were very popular and writing lots of new stories it would take 2 or 3 years to move from 25th to 10th. And if you are in 50th or 100th place its almost impossible. Only a very, very few authors (like you and silky) can amass large numbers of “favs” quickly. Even great authors don’t always amass lots of ‘favorites”. For example Dr Heat has under 3000 “favs” after all his years here.

As to my continuing success I must admit that quite frankly it came as a huge surprise to me that I continued to attract readers, votes, comments and favorites in such large numbers after I stopped publishing my stories on the site.

http://67.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m2ueimJ9DQ1rne5x6o1_1280.gif
a brother and sisters story?

And yet last year my 70 some “old” stories attracted over 2.1 million views and over 19,000 votes!

And I just checked my “recent activity” page and found that during the last 30 days I had 424 new “activities” – comments, story favoriting (and unfavoriting) and author favoriting. An incredible number!

So why does my popularity continue? I can only speculate but I do have a few guesses.

1) I have two stories among the top 12 “MOST READ” stories on the site. I now believe this is the number one driver in readers finding me. Other most favorited authors on the first page of this list include TryAnything, rgjohn, nikki, pacman, youbadboy and samslam.

2) I’m near the top on both the MOST FAVORITE STORY and the MOST FAVORITED AUTHOR lists.

3) Once a new reader finds one of my stories they want to read more. I believe readers are more likely to “favorite” an author after having read two or three stories they like and not just after one.

4) There is a list somewhere (I can never find it when I’m looking for it) that lists stories that have received the most votes in a category. “Daddy,” I Whispered seems to be on it whenever I stumble across the list. I assume others also find this list from time to time.

5) There’s another list on the Incest page that shows MOST POPULAR authors over the last day, week and month. Sometimes I appear on it. Today my name is listed but I think maybe the list is frozen for some reason as all three lists are exactly the same. So that can’t hurt!

6) And finally I advertise! Yes I’m criticized for promoting my stories on LITEROTICA’S forums but the results are there. Readers do find me that way.

And let me just finish by saying congrats on your great year here on LITEROTICA.

Not to mention those funny looking fingers from clicking on and off the view button several million times.

Another point not many people know but scouries and a couple of other lit writers were almost banned from google a number of years ago for playing with the most requested searches for certain subjects. Lit and incest were two of them. Let me see if I can find that piece again.

Not to mention scouries on the most popular authors list for incest yesterday was the first time I'd seen him there in a long time. Coincidentally after these accusation started, so guess he had to get himself there.

I do have to admit I have no clue what is behind those lists. I used to think it was about having a lot of new stories up, but I show up in mature a lot and have not posted anything there in close to a year

Well, its not like you haven't already answered him. He gets where he is by cheating with his numbers. How many times can you, or anyone else, say it?

But last night was telling. We found out why an author with a handful of Meh stories in two years suddenly gets numbers that top authors here can't get. He's getting some extra 'support'

QUOTE that LITEROTICA’S #1 author james r scouries posted this back in 2008: Look, I’m sorry your stories aren’t popular, I’m sorry very few people want to read them. But that’s life… You chose quantity over quality and this of course chased away many potential readers – readers you’ll have a very hard time recapturing.

My suggestion to you is to choose a new LITEROTICA name, and then concentrate on producing a few very good stories instead of a huge number of average stories. Try to emulate me.Then you too may find fame and fortune.
Sound familiar? But he still hasn’t figured it out!

https://voir.ca/leyab/files/2014/04/snob.jpg
And here is a quote from ace from back in 2008. Sounds like he was pretty obsessed with the list back then!

Oh, and I'm happy with my results here. You probably haven't noticed but I'm about to crack the top hundred, which is phenomenal considering the genres I write in, the length of time I've been posting stories here, and that I write for a more literate crowd than you do.

Here’s where ace was back in October 2011 – 500 stories with 604 “favorites”. His aide de camp – the dumbone had 714. At that time I had 68 stories up and had 2642 “favorites”.

Here’s what ace posted about his new best friend the ignorelistmember back in Dec 2012: You just keep on swiftboating no matter how I disprove that from Lit. statistics. I am WAY above you on the favorite author's list and doing quite well generally there... My ratings are relatively low because you and other assholes can--and obviously do (because they don't match the favoriting stats) manipulate them. (And yet, I just keep posting my stories to Lit., don't I?)

Well he doesn’t seem to have ever cracked the top 100 (let alone the top 25). And I don’t think he’s WAY above him anymore. In fact both he and the dumbone seemed to have slipped down the list even though they are flooding the site with their stories.

QUANTITY OR QUALITY?

ScouriesWorld will always choose QUALITY!!!!

You seem to be obsessed with and to feel threatened by me, Jim. It's too bad (for you--me, I don't really care) that you can't be satisfied with your limited writing experience here (other than your over-the-top hyping of yourself). :D

I do get a little kick out of knowing that you expend all this effort to compose attack posts dedicated to me. I'm saving them for some evening when I'm really bored and may (but probably not) read them then. In the meantime, I'll just be pleased that I've been dancing on your nerves.

He used to tout the top 50 on the favorites list, but even with all his gaming certain people have crossed that line, so he's moved it up to the to 25. :D

Ain't that so cute.

And no, scouries has no one on ignore in any of his alts. His ego won't allow it.

“I don’t really care”! That’s a good one ace. Especially since you posted it on a ScouriesWorld thread.

“I’m saving them…” ace everyone on LITEROTICA knows you read every word jim posts and every word I post. You keep claiming indifference and yet you keep coming back to a thread you claim doesn’t interest you.

The fact of the matter is that you are jealous of those authors who are on the MOST COMMENTED and MOST VOTES list. And so you try to blacken your betters’ names by casting false aspersions.

May I suggest you leave this thread forever. The thousands and thousands of readers who visit this thread are getting tired of your petty little games. Perhaps, since you believe the only reason your stories aren’t good enough to make our lists is the category you write in, you should start your own threads – MOST COMMENTED GAY STORIES and MOST VOTES GAY STORIES.

http://www.ultraimg.com/images/SueN6.gif
How about: “Ace’s all in one MOST VOTES/COMMENTS GAY STORY LISTS”

Given my expertise on this type of lists I’d be happy to give you any help you need as you start up these lists.

Now please go away…
