It's a Canadian band and there are many English references, but how about:

Home for a Rest by Spirit of the West

And anything by Great Big Sea

:D Thank you!

Okee dokee.

Already have Great Big Sea. Will get the other one, too.

Play something of B.B. King next week please, BBB? Anything will do, but I really like "The Thrill is Gone" and "To Know You is to Love You".

Edits Maybe for week after next? I forgot next week is Irish ...

Sol is going to be your crack staff wikipedia for this weeks lists..lol

I had no idea how many songs there are. BBB you are going to have a tough time just picking 20 something.

I hope that you told BBB your favorites Sol. I look forward to hearing them.

In Canada we had a very popular tv show back in the early 70's with the Irish Rovers. They were so popular here. Our east coast has a huge Irish following even today. :)

Thank you for the replay.

Just listened to "Shout". Weird, that was my favorite stripper gurl's favorite song.

BBB, I know you get lotsa requests, but howzabout a Mark Knopfler tribute. The guy is versatile . . . Dire Straits, Emmylou Harris, I think he did some stuff with Clapton (not your favorite) and Phil Collins.

I will play some of his stuff a week from tomorrow. Love that EmmyLou stuff with him. And with Sting.

Clapton is one of my faves...just that the concert I saw him at was fookin' horrible.
