I almost never give unsolicited advice, but have you ever considered doing three years in the Army? Ask a recruiter about MOS 12R (interior electrician). There's probably a waiting list. Plus they have the new fucking gold-plated GI bill so if you want to go to college when you get out, you'll have next to no college debt. Not to mention you'll be a twofer on hiring preferences (minority AND a veteran).

I thought you could waiver them now? I don't know, I know they used to reject them. Thought I read they only rejected the White Power ones now. I think you're in the clear there. ;)

The current version of Army Regulation 670-1, published March 31, includes the following rules:

• No tattoos on the head, face, neck and hands.

• No extremist, indecent, sexist or racist ink.

• No more than four visible tattoos below the elbows and knees. In addition, those tattoos must be smaller than the size of the wearer's hand.

• Visible band tattoos cannot be more than 2-inches wide,

• Sleeve tattoos are not allowed.

I have more than four below the elbow. I have some on my neck. Was thinking about getting a face tat ( never did it)

Don't feel like that. I considered going back to school last year I thought that I could test out of a lot of courses and get a degree or two that would help with a project . Its been 25 years. I have always been great at taking tests. I took an entrance exam. They said two hours is average...which means for me an hour, hour and a half tops I smugly thought.

Took me 4.5 hours and 60 sheets of scratch paper. Mathematics used to be my best subject. I know how mathematics is built, so I had to start from the basics and teach myself the entire field again. Nothing wrong with being rusty. Take off that layer of oxidation with a couple of practice tests, see if you are keen again. If not, sit in on a class and it will come back. The knowledge is in there...it just takes some finesse to get it back out.

Rusty ain't the word lol. It look like I'm reading Spanish. I gotta learn it all over again too. I just need the solution how to solve the problem then the problem would be solved

I know people who have self taught themselves math through them well enough for college math.
They also have other classes.

I really do like it here now. I use to just come here when I'm bored and its not to do and just to fuck with people. But now sometimes I'll turn down fun to be here and chat with yall. ( fun to me is illegal shit) I might be a little far fetch but it seems to me you all are family here. Like a little community and I like that. The only family I really have is my set ( those from the same hood as me) and I'm tired of them ignorant trouble making motherfucker. I really do want better for myself. And I sincerely appreciate all the help you all are giving me. Even people I use to hate Queersetti and Bobby who's down south are giving me advice. I'm starting to like Queersetti. Robert you are still on my bad side. But I am grateful for all of your efforts. You all are helping me become a better me. Changing me look on life. And I am sincerely grateful

Smooth- there are some good people here and people who are in general good underneath the crap. There are also some people who are players and just want to mess with your head. Also, some people who are just really messed up so that they say stuff you would not believe that is down right mean and nasty for no reason at all, I try not to take them seriously.

This can be a mean place full of gossip, not sure they mean to be as nasty as they can get sometimes, but so far I don't think you have wandered into any of that.

Byron used to like to bait "Roberto" as he called him, but he didn't think he was all bad.
Byron and I kept our relationship fairly quiet here because he was very concerned people would be mean to me because of him. When he died, I outed us because he had friends here who I needed to tell about his death. So far with a few exceptions, everyone has been nice to me and patient with my seemingly endless grief at times.

The nice thing about Lit is you get to meet people on here that you would never have the option to in real life. I have learned a lot over the past decade here, some of it very surprising.
