That's awesome, @_valkyrie_ !!Our touring group rides are never too crowded - seven motorcycles tops, solo rider and/or backpack, elevating the participants number to a maximum of fourteen, if complete. It's a restricted group, only women. We haven't had a trans member join us yet that I am aware if, but we are from all flavours of the spectrum - gay, bi, straight - that I'm sure would make any difference. We just want to ride and have fun, go to awesome places.
The Sunday ride is an exception (we got to a whopping 130 vehicles in the very last hours and around 150 participants), as it is in partnership with several entities, all with their own contributions to the event. The proceeds from the enrollment fee go entirely to a fund destined to cancer patients / treatments.
We also have the police backup for traffic flow and several activities / workshops set up, such as make-up booths for cancer patients, vouchers for micropigmentation sessions / tattooing, a defensive crash course for solo riders, food stalls and music.
As part of the organisation team, we aim to provide a spectacularly different day to these people, show that there is life after and during cancer, that even with such trying situations, they are not alone.
I am a bisexual male living in the States and have been trying find a wholesome motorcycle club for LGBTQIA+ riders but, so far, no luck.
