Let's talk about accents

Haters gonna hate

I've always found this topic interesting. I've heard many American woman say that guys with British accents are sexy. Which, yeah, they totally are so I get it. I've heard various types of accents called sexy though, from all over the world.

However, I've never heard someone from another country call an American accent sexy. From everyone else's perspective, is the American accent just kind of folksy and ignorant sounding or what? Kind of like how people in the US with southern accents are often stereotyped as less intelligent, I wonder if that's how the rest of the world views the US in general.

But anyway, that's going a little off topic. As for what I find sexy... for a woman, a Russian accent is super sexy to me. There's something very alluring about it, like there's more to her than she'll ever let you find out. For a guy, I love a good Scottish accent.

I find it ironic that other countries view our accents (although you are the only person I've heard say that) as less intelligent when the US is one of the most, if not the most intelligent of countries in the world... Hmmmmm.

I've traveled the US racing mx and when we go up north the women would tell me things to say to hear my southern accent. One woman, in a restaurant in Minnesota told asked me if I would let her record me talking. She brought me a piece of paper and told me to read it and she recorded me. It said, "good morning beautiful, I miss you. Come to Mississippi so I can hold you. I love you baby. Haha it was weird but heck, I love making someone's day :) I love every accent!

You ought to record that and post it here! ;)

Accents are a huge thing for me. Nothing better than hearing a prim and proper sounding English girl whispering the filthiest words into my ear. Or just a plain filthy American accent laying on sentence after sentence of wanton lust filled desires.
Having an Irish Accent myself has had a good reception here and there also.

For. Anyone interested an example of an audio I've done for a particular lover of accents I used to know :

Well... In a lot of countries it is difficult to say one accent covers the country... as per your own point above. A British accent?? English? Irish? Scottish? Welsh?
Let's take English.... Scouse? Geordie? Yorkshire? (Yorkshire coast? West Yorkshire? Barnsley/Sheffield?) London? Brummie?

So yeah, you can point out a generic country's accent but bit hard to state it covers everyone.

Me? I like lilting Celtic accents in a girl (light Irish/Scottish accents). I love Latina accents and hearing Spanish being spoken.
I also have a thing for girls from more Southern US states...
I once had a chat with a girl from South Carolina... it seemed so warm and friendly and... I dunno... but it turned me on.

I love the Louisiana accent. Along with the Boston accent (sounds sort of like my own accent), anything southern American really. And Southern England, hell anything southern is awesome, southern people have really soft voices. which is a change for a northerner like me, with my guttural north accent.

How ever I do love the Scottish accent, even if I can't always understand it.

My favs; Boston(U.S), Lousiana, Texan, Yorkshire, Essex, Cockney, Jock(Scottish, particularly Glaswegian), Italian, French, Irish (Southern), Swedish, and Romanian.

Yesterday, I had to go to a clinic. The clinic I chose to visit tends to get very busy very fast so I made sure to arrive before they opened. I had some extra time so I went to the coffee shop beside it to buy a coffee and something to eat and went to sit on the patio. An older gentleman was sitting there, age maybe 55 or so if I had to guess, and I saw him check me out and look back at his newspaper. Later I was pleased to find out, as inside the clinic he walked in as I was talking to the receptionist and smiled at me, that he was the doctor... and upon having my appointment with him that he had the most delicious, thick accent... he said it was French, though I've never heard a French accent sound so sultry. It was very sexy and I would have let him do more than just give me a prescription for sure...

French are ok, but the sexiest accents still are hungarian (oh là là !) or south american :

I've noticed I tend to enjoy harsher sounding Germanic languages. German and Dutch accents are properly my top foreign. I like the British like most. I also like Danish, Swiss, Scottis. As from being from the US, I love a southern US or Texan accent. Not only does it sound amazing, but they are gentleman. *shivers*

I forgot to add that I also like Russian and eastern European languages like Polish, Czech, Romanian.

Regardless of language, it's so sexy when they are in the moment and it's so intense that they default to their native language. I have heard of it, but only experienced it once. He was Dutch and I will never forget it.

My own accent is fairly neutral British - except when I speak French.

My French still has the Australian accent I acquired because my last formal French tuition was in Australia. When I arrived in Australia I spoke French with a slight English accent but my teachers, and more importantly, the examiners couldn't understand my accent unless I spoke the Australian version of French.

I still do. My wife has the horrors whenever I speak French in France.

She has a pure educated upper-class Parisian accent because she was an Au Pair to a retired Professor from the Sorbonne. He was blind and wanted her to read the French literary classics to him. He insisted that she should speak perfect academic French, clearly and exactly.

She still does, so much so that people in France assume that she IS French, married to a low class Australian hick.

I really love and kness go weak when women speak with the following (in no particular order) german, french, southern usa, buenos aires, italian, latin and deep gruff voices ...

But during sex all turns me on ...

Sorry for the paraphrasing of your comment, but I found this very interesting and it is true. What I find interesting is, if you listen to the Southern accent and know where these people are predominantly from originally and their accent is a form of British, Scottish and Irish. In college many years ago in Texas I took language and diction classes and learned this. Afterwards hearing Southerners and fellow Texans speak, I could hear it! Yes it is not exact anymore, but still there.
Now back to the subject at hand. Sorry for the diversion. :)

To me, and maybe because I am Italian and raised by an Italian immigrant family (mine) I find an Italian accent very sexy. I love Spanish as well. Russian, is also sexy, But the Latin languages are called the romantic languages for a reason. :D

Southern American accents can be hot, especially when a little gravelly. At the moment a rich Scottish (ones that just sound like honey) accent and a soft, warm, manly Irish accent gets me going too.

Yes agreed about the South American accents for sure, it is I believe also where a Portugese accent can originate from. After working with a bunch of attractive Portugese men I have a new love for the thick accent

British, Irish & Scottish. Would love to make this happen some day.
