As I was reading some posts on Lit when a comercial came on the the tv advertising KY Warming Liquid. I was just wondering if this works. I have no problem getting wet so I have never tried it before. Have any of you? Does it work for work for you and get warm while you are having sex? Do you like the sensation? I might think about trying it myself if it works just to feel the warming sensation. Also you could say I am just being nosey:p

I hope it's not inappropriate to post this story here, but I got reminded of it and got the giggles thinking about it, so here it goes... ;)

I bought some cherry-flavoured warming liquid and applied it to my boyfriends penis before I began performing a blow job. It tasted very very good, but it was rather tart and I began salivating a lot, and I couldn't stop. Before we knew it, I was drooling all over his cock and we were both laughing our asses off :D

We had to clean it all up before we could continue and then I never used the stuff again :D
What it sounds like to me is that it numbed your mouth like Ora Gel does.

In regard to the KY Warming lube, the wife and I tried it, we got a couple free samples in the mail. To quote the wife "It was kinda nice for about 20 seconds, then the warming action wore off".

We found it to be the same consistency as astroglide, which we do not like. Its watery, and doesn't last nearly long enough.

I haven't used the KY stuff but from what Bob said it sounds to me like the other stuff we have tried. Heats up pretty good for a little bit but wears off kinda quick. I didn't find it all that stimulating in and of itself.

But with the stuff we have tried, the edible kind I mean (the kind that poor Tinker couldn't stop drooling over...lol) I like to use it as a foreplay enhancer.

We've found that just squishing it onto our gentiles and going at isn't really all that exciting. But dabbing it on the nipples (him and her) and blowing and licking and then the belly, the ribs, thighs, underside of the arms, neck, and even the gentials is very nice. It adds to the sensation. Not something we use often but it can be fun whenused right.

Hubby and I have tried a few different warming liquids. If your looking for something to warm but not especially for lubricant i highly recommend using the kama sutra liquids.

You dont need to use much and you can reapply it often if needed, as it last a very long time. We bought a bottle 4 yrs ago and havent even gone through half the bottle yet. We only apply it once and really enjoy the sensations then get down to business.

We havent used the ky warming liquid as because with the kama sutra there is no need to spend more money.

P.S. we highly recommend the strawberry champaigne although they have other flavors to choose from. But if you are looking for a good lubricant Probe is a good one.:)

Ah thank you Blue

Like my Christmas stocking? LOL

Fill it with Wet Platnium LOL!!! Or maybe a key to your place hehe LOL. Yeah, that's prolly all that'll fit haha!

I have never tried the KY Warming Liqiuid, but have found most other flavor waming lubes to wear off too quickly. For the past 2 years or so, I've made ours. It is easy to adjust the consistancy and the intensity of the warming action. I can make it in just about any flavor we could want and for much less than what you can buy in the store.

I love the KY Liquid, but the warming stuff is crap. It's not very slippery, and it got frighteningly hot...like enough to startle me lol.

How about being a sweetheart and sharing your recipe? I'm sure there are others here besides myself that wouldn't mind saving a few bucks and turning up the heat a little bit at the same time. :)

Not Only is it a warming lubricant, it is also edible and condom compatible. I pretty much broke down the ingredients of the Kama Sutra Warming Lotion with a few changes.. I run a small bath and body business in my hometown and have sold a lot of this in the past couple years at about $10.00. It is one of the best sellers.

It is probably the easiest thing you will ever make. All it is liquid vegetable glycerin (which can be found at any pharmacy or even in that dept of your local Wal-Mart)...You can use the bottle it came in, but I find that a smaller bottle found with the travel-size shampoos, lotions and such at Wal-Mart work much better, as the opening is smaller. Place the liquid glycerin in desired bottle and place some on the back of your hand. Blow on it however you prefer (I find it gets much hotter if you blow on it like you were fogging up a mirror) for warmth strength, if too warm add just a small drop of water or two to the bottle and shake well, test again and repeat process until you reach the desired warmth. That's all there is too it, this is really good for sensitive persons because it cuts out the harsher elements found in commercial products. There are a few things you can add. I recommend poking a hole in 2 Vitamin E capsules and squeezing out the vit. E into the liquid, this also acts like a preservative if you decide to add flavor. For flavor, simply use flavor oils or extracts found in the bakery or spice section, add a couple drops of flavor of your choice at a time, don't forget to shake it up, until you reach desired flavor.

NOTE: I wouldn't recommend vanilla, vanilla extract on it's own is awful. And don't forget you can combine flavors such as strawberry-banana, chocolate-mint, and pina coloda. Have fun with it!

Sadly I'll admit, but I barely squeaked by my college chemistry courses. What I don't understand, or perhaps its just a failure to understand the chemistry, but I don't see how vegetable glycerin can act as a warming agent?

There are several glycerides as well as glycerin in standard over the counter KY jelly, and its about as warming as an ice cube. What am I missing here?

In products such as KY jelly, there are other ingredients (don't ask me exactly which one, because I honestly do not know) that kinda counter-react with the glycerine taming the warmth quite considerably.

If you take liquid vegitable glycerine, spread some on the back of your hand or in the inner bend of your elbow and blow on it, it warms. It warms enough in fact, that I attach a warning card stating that you should test a small amount on the back of your hand or in the inner bend of your elbow before using the first time after recieving, and to add tap water a couple drops at a time until desired warming action is achieved.

Some repeat customers tell me that they like it just as it is shipped, others had to add a few drops. Then there are those that, well, LOL, didn't read the cards and got the surprise of their life.

One man (a fairly close friend of ous), bought a Large basket for his fiance' for X-mas last year, she opened it and was so excited to put things to use, she put it on him without looking at the rest of the prducts and cards, all was well and good when she was just using her hands, they got a little warm and she turned the ceiling fan on. He went wild fanning his privates trying to get it to cool down. DUH! It only made it worse.LOL Sad to laugh at the misfortune I know. LOL.

Some people are just more sensitive than others. I know people who think that the KY Warming stuff is too warm <shrug>

If anyone can explain better why the glycerine doen't warm as well in KY and the such, than it does on it's own, I would really appreciate their sharing.I'd like to know myself.

For my Lit friends... it won't cost you a penny

OH MY GOD! And for that bit of generosity I will love you forever. I adore warming lotions but have problems with them including the fact that they don't really get warm enough. Thanks so much!

You really think astroglide is sticky???

I just got some and I really like it.......tho it does wear off fast.

Up until recently I had used nothing but KY, everyone keeps mentioning "wet" I may need to try that out.

This is a marginal product. It Only warms for a short period of time, and afterwards it not only looses the "slippery", it becomes sort of gooey and icky.

Take a pass on this one.

The wife and I tried it and it sucks.Stuff got sticky after about a half hour of serious play and fucking. She said it did warm up though but too much for anal, said it burned. We have really been trying to find a good lube that lasts so you don't have to keep stopping and re-applying it.

there's a good thread around here about lubes.....some good advice there..

I've heard "wet" is one of the better ones? I'm thinking of trying it out

I recently got some astroglide and I like it better than KY, but haven't tried it yet with a partner

This is our absolute #1 favorite. We haven't found anything else that even comes close.

I used it with my Gal and had a great time.... it smells nice and did fantastic things for her already oversensitive nipples :)
