One time I got a text message on my phone from my sister, who I thought was my best friend, saying all kinds of things about me! She had sent it to me when she meant to send it to her husband. Tonight I had kind of the same thing happen. A friend e-mailed me from another site not knowing that was my username. Let's just say if it wasn't so sad it would be funny.

No drama. Seriously my sister and I have had other issues and I have gotten over that. This thing with my friend is what is killing me. I should be crying my eyes out but I am just cracking up. I thought I was special but I must have been the smuck that took the bait. The line is still in the water I guess. Only the person forgot my user name - ran the same line with me again not remembering it was me. I got what I deserved. Oh my gosh this is seriously so funny. Life is great!

I think that I have found out that I don't need to be such a trusting douchbag! Good lesson to learn. I also lost a good friend this weekend because I tried not to hurt their feelings which hurt their feelings!

So I guess I'll hang around here and change my avatar every couple of weeks and pester parodyluvr.

Oh my gosh your avatar is beautiful!!!! I am so glad of that myself. That is seriously why I think I am going to embrace being by myself a little bit. You know that is not a bad thing. I am finding I am pretty good company. It's like this was the last straw to a major epiphany. My son had to do a thing for school about his life philosophy. He is young but he said his was that each day is what you make it and, good or bad, it ends at midnight. One day at a time! I guess I need to choose my master wisely, grasshopper!!!

Has this faux friend realized her mistake yet? Still, it bites and hurts. I know you've commented before how you try not to make waves and go out of your way to please others above yourself. People need to earn that present from you, not assume it's always there.

No, but I have been within earshot of someone who didn't know I was there that said terrible things about me. I blushed profusely, and walked out. She never attempted any apology and we never spoke again. Years go by and she's tried to friend me on FB three times. I don't need that kind of negativity in my life.
