Kazaa Users????????????

I am having a hell of a time downloading songs. I keep getting the more sources needed deal and when I can connect its telling me six hours on some songs....My participation level is very low.....whats the freekin deal.......I thought I could dl stuff here...Id be better off buying the CD's........

Dial up is soooooooo slooooooowwwwwww... that's probably part of your problem. You get the "more sources needed" when the person that you're downloading from shuts the program or turns their computer off. It will then wait till that person or someone else with an identical copy of that song logs on. I leave my computer on all night and often when I wake up in the morning, all the songs have finished downloading.

i love kazaa, i find it really fast, i haven't had too many problems with it, occassionally i don't get a song downloaded for some reason but i try again and it works.

I have a cable connection....I just started using it 2 days ago, and it worked fine.....now I keep getting more sources needed....I understand that that is because the person that uploaded the song is offline.........I dunno....maybe its just peak time slow also....plus my participation level is low...meaning nobodys downloading from me....so with a low Part level your downloads are slower and you dont get priority........Do any of you upload stuff???? What are your participation levels?

Actually I have my option to share turned off, because I am on dialup and it takes for ages. So that shouldn't have anything to do with it.

Some songs take longer than others to d/l, the person you might be trying to d/l from may have a dialup connection as well and that might be your problem.

I have a dial-up and the speeds are way slow. When I have cable at home it is much faster.

i have dsl, and its been acting up for me too at times, my participation wont go up at all its down to 7

I'm on DSL, and my DL speeds have been a bit slow too. I just assumed it was because I was trying to find obscure shit, though. And in case you're wondering, my participation level tends to hover somewhere between deity and supremem being. People Just LOVE to download Buffy episodes
