PP thread is melon collie however I see some good wishes within his message.

First off never take anything for granted. Enjoy the people about that you love for you never know what the future holds. Am I referring to war here, no. I am referring to life in general. Appreciate who is about you that you love.

Second, I do have several close friends in the service. One close to my heart and I wish that they return safely. So no harm in reminding us there.

It is inevitable that things are brewing within the world. Does it mean that it will be a full fledge war only time will tell on how the politicians handle it all.

Yes by all means have a good time over this Christmas and for those going off to Iraq (and I have a couple of relatives of my own who have been mobilised) give them their best time ever...

For it is only when they are no longer here our thoughts will be forever with them until they return safe and sound.
