There's a big difference in each part of Texas, from the Gulf Coast to the Desert Southwest. We're in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, same as newbiebabe and viper.

Well, both, to some extent. We've got flat hot desert, canyons and flatlands, pine forests, rolling green hills, rugged oak-covered hills, seacoast and prairielands. Big cities, tiny towns - some areas have more of the Mexican culture, like San Antonio, while some have a German or Czech heritage, like the rest of the Hill Country. Anything you want, except snow skiing!
