I had the added problem of being so short that it was hard to get them to fit me properly. I think they finally got me some kids crutches and the doctor warned me not to lean on them and put weight on them because it could do some damage to those muscles there. Hope you are able to get some sleep.

If I had known you would be here, I would have shown up. As it turned out, I came home from work and immediately got my feet up and iced my foot. It was pretty swollen from being down all day. I even took a nap. It has pretty much taken everything out of me to work injured.

Oh sweetie I am so sorry to hear how hard it is on you to work injured. I know it is hard. I injured my shoulder and it really gets in the way of things sometimes, but not like a foot would. I hope keeping off of it this weekend and icing helps and that you will soon be back to normal! Sending healing vibes your way!

That is true, I just can't stand too long at the moment. It doesn't mean I couldn't cuddle and get warm. Right now I am chilled to the bone because I am too cheap to turn the heat up. I get under the blankets when I can.

My prayers are with you for a speedy healing. I know that you don't like to use crutches, but since you can't stay away from work, you may have to use them to protect you foot. It is so important to keep from doing further damage. Please take care of yourself. I wish there was more that I could do for you.

hope you were able to rest over the weekend and your foot is better, i am doing better, i worked all day on the house yesterday, hurt some last night, but winter is close and i have to finish the outside of the house up, one more weekend should do it!! another stressful day today, the Mrs is going back to the hospital for a ct scan on her heart and lungs , maybe they will figure out exactly whats going on!!! Thanks, Bob. I don't walk any more than I absolutely have to. When we have things that slow us up, we appreciate being able to normally do things. My heart always went out to my Mom in her wheel chair the last years of her life.

Yippee! My daughter, son in law, and of course my now 11 month old granddaughter will be here Saturday to visit. I won't get to spend but a few hours with them before they head down to Oregon, but at least I will get to see them for a bit.

I won't be able to fly there for Christmas either, because they will be working through the holidays.

The foot is about the same.
