For years I purchased Tee shirts made here in the USA. But for the past 6 years or more all of the Tee's I've bought have been made in China. Yeah, I could have bought USA tee's if I bothered to shop around, but I didn't. Shame on me.
Anyway, the ole USA tees generally wore out at the collar. Got frayed and started looking nappy. Oh, I'd get an occasional hole from a snag or such, but the collars were the typical "wear out" pattern.
Not so with the Chinese Tees. They blow out the seam at the arm pits and "no", I'm not buying them a size too small. This doesn't seem to take all that long either, no other sign of wear.
Oh, and the material is of decidedly lighter weight.
