Israeli Jews now even have a higher birthrate than Palestinian Arabs or Egyptians.

Some of it due to high Orthodox birthrates, but even "secular" Jews in Israel have a birthrate of well over the replacement rate. Europe on the other hand averages closer to half the rate needed even for replacement, and the US is about at replacement (but rates vary between US ethnic groups).

On the other hand, religious Jews in the US average about replacement while the "secular" Jewish population is far below replacement level and one of the lowest of any identifiable demographic in the US.

How or what explains the demographic anomaly of the Israeli Jewish birth rate, and what lessons could it teach other developed countries or sub-national groups facing demographic decline?

They are surrounded by people who hate them and want to turn the region into trinitite. I'd be fucking all the time, too.

One study regarding the low birth rates in Europe mentions lack of stability in relationships as being the key reason for the low birth rate. They cite the high probability of divorce which leads to couples not wanting to risk marriage, and that co-habituating couples are less likely to have children due to the lack of stability. A cycle that feeds on itself in a downward spiral.

Is the Israeli family unit more stable than the European, American, or East Asian (all areas with low fertility levels)? Or is there some other factor at work? Some have speculated that the high birth rate is a deliberate political or ideological decision for Israelis, while others cite various other factors, generous family benefits from the state, religious belief or practice, or some sort of cultural factor at work?

It also appears that its not restricted to any component of the Israeli Jewish population, as even secular Jews of European background are well above replacement levels. Among those from the former USSR, for example, a group which had a birth rate of about 1.0 in Russia, once they arrived in Israel this increased to 2.3.

Actually that makes little sense. If one is worried about the future, many people would be reluctant to bring children into the world to face an uncertain future.

Further, if we look at white Americans for example, they are surrounded by people who obviously hate them (look at the mass refusal of ALL non-white groups in the US to vote for the GOP which they consider the "white people party" or their dislike for Donald Trump for example motivated by anti-white prejudice on their part) yet white Americans are at about a 1.8 birth rate. So being hated doesn't necessarily lead to fertility.

Sorry, didn't realize what you were. My bad.

You sound like Busybody on crack.

The divorce rate of Jews in the US is about 30% and it is ofteny after the kids have left home.

Maybe it's because they are surrounded and outnumbered by people that want to exterminate them, they know the time will come when they will need every swinging dick or vagina that can hold a gun if they are to survive as a nation.

IMO the only real Jews are the ones who practice their religion, where as secular Jews are like Christians that only go to church on Easter and Christmas yet self identify as Christians.
