I can't find my damn ration card. Ergh!! I just saw it a week ago. But now it's gone. I really hate cleaning the house. Nothing is where it's supposed to be.

But what's silly is that we still have ration cards for stuff. Just absolutely moronic.

I'm almost out of Maker's, damnit.

Yep, ration cards. For smokes, alcohol, and umm, something else that I forget since I don't have one upstairs here. Tea used to be rationed, but they came to their senses and renegotiated that with the last SOFA renegotiation. (status of forces agreement)

Anyway. Mines missing for now. Just as well I think.

DCL, I'm in Germany. Stupid shit happens here. LOL And alcohol can't be mailed. I already checked. Thanks.

I just remembered. Coffee is rationed too.

The command I was stationed at (very small) used to make us show our ration card at the door. If we didn't have it, they wouldn't even let us in the commissary. Used to piss me off all the time because I am so forgetful.

I think the prices are usually cheaper than in the states, but don't quote me on that....it was definitely cheaper than buying booze or cigs on the British economy (at the time).

Curious, so I got hubby's.

For alcohol, the total monthly ration is: 5 bottles - 6.5 liters
tobacco: 40 single packs, and it looks like 4 cartons a month.
coffee: an absolute mess LOL

They're generous rations, but I still think it's silly to even have it anymore.
