Spring is almost here....my question is;
* does your sex drive increase in the spring?
* Is it pretty constant all year round, or do you feel the "heat" like I do?
Just Curious..:D

You're not alone. Spring has that affect on me, too. I think it has something to do with the start of new life or something along those lines.

I feel so much more aroused and my body just feels completely different. Maybe it's because winter is such a dreary and cold time. Spring holds the promise of warmth and seeing all of the flowers and trees start to bloom once again.

Do you think that might be why? lol

:)

Sorry, mate. Summer is here. Big time. Spring has past. New Zealand season's are different to yours.

Are you asking, did I have Spring fever? Then the answer
is yes.
:D
In full Summer the 'heat' is full on.
Thank goodness for our pool.

:p
Spring has sprung

during the winter the short daylight hours cause our bodies to decrease our hormone levels. Getting us ready for "hibernation". Seratonin levels decrease as well. In spring with the return of the sunlit hours The level of these chemicals go up and make us all hornier than ever.

so it is a naturally occouring thing

i like Spring because the bedroom is not too cold from winter and not too hot from summer and so you can be more adventurous - the fruit and cream stays fresher longer...lol

I agree with this, in that we & our sex drives are less depressed.
Our actual human mating season is summer, resulting in a spring delivery, whenever that happens to be where we live.

Not only does my libido get twitchy, but my whole soul gets itchy feet....

I start to want things/people/situations that I just know I can't have. I get the urge to travel, to meet people, experience stuff... <sigh>

Spring is a very dangerous time for me, and although he doesn't seem aware of it, for my OH too.....

Honestly, I've never paid attention....but I'll keep an eye on it this spring and let ya know.
I'm not sure it's possible to be more horny than I already, naturally am...but I guess I'll find out...

It's certainly got the feeling of planting time for me. Travel yes?
It's a basic drive to join with nature.
Dreams of lying in the grass, of kissing, of daffodils a touch, being touched. I love the idea of spring.
Some have been great, others...

A time for breaking rules.

I like OldAllis idea, never heard that before. I always thought it was just because people started wearing different kinds of clothing.

the decrease in the levels of our natural chemicals is usually associated with SAD, (Seasonal Affective Disorder). Commonly known as the "winter blues" It can be very serious in some people requiring antidepressants and "light therapy". It all has to do with our sunlight exposure. Next winter when you are feeling down or have "cabin feaver", go to a tanning bed for a couple of days in a row...... you will notice a difference.

Too true old Allis about SAD.
My 15 year old sun said he wanted a heat lamp and I bout him an infra-red chicken warmer from the Agricultural co-op. He said it was useless and then he complained he had SAD and wanted the doctor to prescribe him ultra-violet lights.
No such fucking thing, he was only sad because he couldn't get his pot plants to germinate in gloomy Normandy.
