Is all this fighting normal around here?

hey guys...I'm just curious, there seems to be a lot of fighting and meaness around here. Is this normal for here or did I just start posting at a bad time? It sure doesn't seem like very much with everybody upset. One thread I read, someone actually gave an address for a real fight!! thats insane! please, tell me it gets better than this!

I have only been here since June or so, but there does seem to be more tension between lit members than usual.

It does happen though as with any group of energetic, bright, strong willed, diverse people.

It goes in cycles. Best way to deal with it, just stay off those threads were people are hurting each other.

So many things have happened in the past, things that newbies including myself don't know anything about.


Best just to enjoy posts and contribute to those that get you thinking.

Just have fun. Ignore the pain.

Good advice, I wouldn't dare enter into a fight I know nothing about. It just seemed to me that lots of threads recently seemed hate filled.

I think we should call this "Hell Week at Lit", now only 2 more days left in the week! After that, everyone must return to their normal loving selfs! OK? Got it? good...don't make me freak out on y'all!

Sometimes. However KR1 has some history here and 99.9% of it is bad. He is a bad person on this board. He has did some bad things to some good people, here and in real life.

Kid Rock1 seems to be trying to take the word asshole to new heights. In the grand scheme of things we are in part what we post. Having said that there is a little of the darkside in all of us, but in KR1 evil has taken a dump and fungus has taken root.

I try to lay low and avoid the trouble. But sometimes I just have to get on my soapbox and have my say.
On the whole there are some VERY intelligent, kind and interesting people here. And then there are people here who have the most amazing personalities. They are funny, quick witted and heaps of fun.

estevie--I've personally witnessed at least a half dozen of these flare-ups in the last couple of years. That's not even counting the make-up/break-up relationships that spill over onto here, or the nearly universal dislike of some posters and trolls.

It passes. Soon someone will start a round of snuggling, and there'll be people posting how much *that* pisses them off.
Rinse, repeat.
